Shota's POV:

"Damn that annoying blond. I try my very FUCKING best to stay away from him and just FORGET! Why does he always have to find a way back into my life! I don't NEED him anymore." I thought. I could feel warm tears trickle down my cheeks. "I dont need him anymore..." I repeated in my head. "Right? Shota! What are you even thinking!?! Of course you don't need him! You don't need ANYONE anymore." I wiped the tears from my face, causing my cut-up wrists to sting.

I started cutting myself when Hizashi left... it was addictive. "Maybe I should just quit my job... Wait. I don't know for sure if he's actually going to be working at UA. I can't make assumptions." I tried to stop crying, but I couldn't. "WHY IS IT SO FUCKING HARD TO LIVE?!?!?" I glanced over at the gun and smiled. "But I don't have to! I don't HAVE to live anymore." Just as I was about to get up and grab my pistol, I heard a knock at the door.

*Knock Knock Knock* I was quite surprised. No one ever really came knocking at my door. It was on rare occasion and even at that, I never answered. I walk up to the door and pressed my ear against it. I heard a sigh and something drop down in front of my door. "I wonder who's there. Probably no one." I started to walk away when I tripped over my umbrella holder.

The stranger must have heard me fall, cause then I heard a voice. "Hey! I'm your new neighbor. I just wanted to introduce myself and give you some cookies. Sorry for bothering you." My eyes widened. "T-that voice. It's so... familiar." I scrambled to my feet and ripped the piece of duct tape I used to cover the peep hole off. I look out it only to see no one.

"They must have left. Why do I even care?" I put the tape back and opened the door, quietly. I saw a container with cookies in it and picked it up. Out of instinct, I looked down the hallway, just in time to see a door at the other end, close. "I wonder who the neighbor is." Walking back into my apartment, I considered saying 'thank you' to the neighbor.

I knew I couldn't do it in person, I would die, so i just decided to write a note. There was a note pad on the table, along with a cup of pens and pencils. I started writing, "Thank you for the cookies. Welcome to your new apartment." I folded it in half and put it in my pocket. I was in a pair of black Jean's and a hoodie, so I probably looked a little suspicious, but I could care less. I laid the note down in front of the door and sighed before knocking and running away.
