Nemuri's POV:
Hamako eventually gave up on trying to fight against me and stormed out of the apartment building. As soon as she left, I remembered Shota and Hizashi and I rushed to the roof. "Oh my god, I hope they are okay." As soon as I got up there, I saw a sight that sent shivers down my spine. Hizashi was frantically crying and cradling Shota's limp body. I didn't believe it. I pulled out my phone and called an ambulance. I then ran over to them.
"Shota... no." I then started crying with the blond. I couldn't believe it, I wouldn't. "Nemuri... I was too late...." He tried to make out as he sniffled. He then went straight to crying again. "PLEASE GOD! I CAN'T LOOSE HIM! PLEASE, HE CAN'T LEAVE!" He then yelled. Losing my best friend and my little brother was the worst thing I've ever felt, but it was 100 times worst for Hizashi.
[10 minutes later]
Nemuri's POV:
Emergency services soon came and they had to drag Hizashi away from Shota. I thought he was gonna blow all their eardrums out. As they got him in the ambulance, me and Hizashi scrambled into my car and followed the ambulance best we could. The whole way there, Hizashi was biting his nails and pulling at his hair. He occasionally looked like he was going to have a panic attack and would just start silently crying instead. This was all in the 13 minutes it took to get there.
When we finally got there, they told us to stay in the waiting room, which didn't go over well with Hizashi. It took a lot of talking to him to finally get him to stop trying to fight the desk worker and to stay in the waiting room. We were there for 45 excruciating minutes before they got him on life support and he was stable. We were finally able to see him. Hizashi looked so worried, he had no patience and I knew that was killing him. We were walking back to the room and all I could think to do is put my hand on his shoulder and assure him Shota would be alright in the end.... even though I wasn't sure myself that he would be.
3rd person POV:
"It'll be okay. Shota's pretty tough, it takes a lot to bring him down." It didn't seem to help though. Hizashi couldn't hear Nemuri. He was too focused on Shota. When the got to the room, Hizashi rushed in first and looked like he was gonna cry again when he saw all the tubes connected to the barely living man. "Shota..." He hurried to the side of the bed and looked at him. "Why didn't you tell me? Why?" The nurse left at that point and the doctor came in.
"Pro heroes Present Mic and Midnight." They both nodded and looked at the doctor. "Shota Aizawa is in critical condition. He has stage 5 hanahaki and is in a coma." Hizashi listened intensively, even if ever word the doctor said slowly broke his heart. "All we can do is give him surgery to remove the flowers from his lungs, but even at that, there is a very small chance of survival." The color drained from Hizashi's face and he looked over at Shota again. The flowers sprouting out of his neck were haunting.
The doctor and Nemuri talked while the now silent blond continued to stand next to Shota. He grabbed his lifeless hand and he just held it for a good 5 minutes before the doctor came up to him and told him he had to leave the room so they could perform surgery. "Please save him. Please." The doctor hesitantly nodded and Hizashi let go of Shota's hand before leaving.

3rd person POV:
Nemuri and Hizashi were once again in the waiting room. Hizashi picked at his nail polish and checking ever few minutes for the doctor. Nemuri was looking down at her lap, feeling guilty for not telling Hizashi about Shota's hanahaki. They didn't speak to each other at all and the minutes turned to hours. "When the hell are they going to be done?!?! I'm going to rip out my fucking hair!" Hizashi stood up, yelling. "It's so unfair! Why god?!?! TAKE ME INSTEAD! ITS MY FAULT!"
