"They're back!" I heard Cami's voice fill the air as we descended from the clouds. As soon as my feet hit the ground I looked for Josie's face. She wasn't among those that welcomed us. "Where's Josie?" I asked. I saw Klaus turn his face away from mine. "She's went into labor. Lizzie and Jo are with her now," Cami said. I turned and hurried into the boarding house. She had went into labor and I wasn't there for her. I smelled her scent and almost busted down the door that led to her room. Josie was laying in her bed, her legs bent at the knees and she was moaning in pain. Her mother was holding her hand on one side and Lizzie was standing on her other side. Two angels that I recognized were standing at the foot of the bed. "It will be any moment now," one said. I didn't say anything, I was frozen as Josie let out a wail. One of the angels moved quickly and grabbed the baby that had slipped out and carried it across the room to a makeshift baby bed. He was cleaning it up and I breathed again when I heard the baby's wail. Josie started moaning again and I saw the other angel stand at the foot of the bed. "Here comes number 2," the angel said as Josie grunted and another small body slipped into the world. "You did great Josie," the angel said. She moved to stand beside the other angel and started cleaning baby 2 off. "He missed it," Lizzie said bitterly. "No, I was here for both," I said grabbing their attention. "I got back just in time," I stated walking across the room toward Josie. She gave me a small smile. "We have two," she said looking toward their direction. "Yes, we have two beautiful babies," I said smiling at her. "What about your mom?" she asked. "We got her in time," I said finally feeling relief. "What about Lucifer?" Jo asked. "He will be coming for her," I said starting to grow uneasy again. "Well, you have a son and a daughter," the two angels said bringing us our babies. "Their eyes are mixed too," Josie commented. She was right. Our daughter had my mixed eye colors and our son had his mother's mixed eye colors. "I was thinking for the boy, we could name him Niklaus Jackson Saltzman Mikaelson Salvatore-Kenner, and for the girl Olivia Moonlight Saltzman Mikealson Salvatore-Kenner," Josie said. I smiled. "That's a mouthful," Lizzie said smiling at her sister and me. Our little family was complete. "Wolfram!" Dameon cried out. He came crashing through the door and panic was covering his face. "He's here. And all of hell with him," he breathed out. "Lizzie, Jo get her out of here," I snarled. "But Gray," Lizzie said softly. "Go, you're close to birthing anyways. I can't have Gray worrying about you and getting himself killed. Just go," I snarled. The two angels that had helped with the delivery nodded toward me. "They're taking them. Get Hope," I said looking at Dameon. "We need her," Dameon said. I sighed. "I'm staying. Josie can leave with the twins. Mom can go too. I won't leave Gray," Lizzie growled. I saw her eyes start to glow. "Very well," I said turning to look at the angels. "All hands on deck. Protect her because if something happens to her or those twins..." I trailed off. The two angels nodded and then they were gone. I turned back to Dameon and Lizzie. "Let's go," I said heading toward the front of the boarding house.
"Michael!" I heard Lucifer yell. Demons were in hoards behind him and the sun had been covered by dark clouds. Michael was standing at the front, between Tala and Jackson. "Lucifer," Michael said dipping his head to his brother. Lucifer's red eyes flamed bright. "You stole her, you thief!" Lucifer growled. "Did you not steal her from me?" Jackson asked. I could see that Lucifer was absolutely pissed by Jackson's voice. "Shut up mutt," Lucifer snarled. My mother's eyes were hard as stone. "And what am I?" she asked. Lucifer's eyes softened just as fraction. "You're a prize," Lucifer said softly. Tala's nostrils flared. "That's all I've ever been to you. A prize. The first time was a prize to win from your brother, then the second time was a prize to win from your nephew. Now I'm a prize to help you with all world domination," she growled. That's when Lucifer's eyes flitted to me. "Aw, the mixed up mutt offspring," Lucifer said. I just stared at him. "She had two other children you know," Michael said looking at his face. Lucifer's eyes roamed over the crowd until it came to rest on Nova. "You were the first," Lucifer stated. Nova didn't answer him. He looked on through the crowd to Caroline. "You were the second," he said. Caroline frowned at him. "Then the prodigal son came," he said turning his red eyes back to me. "And?" I asked. "I was the product of a mating bond. My mother was put through hell, literally to be with my father and to have me. Why would you want to cause her more pain?" I asked. Lucifer faltered for one moment and then his eyes flamed again. His huge black wings trailed the ground behind him and he looked mad. "Lucifer, let it go. Let her go," I said looking at him. "She's the true mate to your nephew. Maybe there is someone out there that is your true mate," I said. Lucifer laughed. "My true mate? Do you not understand? Angels aren't given mates. The mate bond comes from the werewolf and the vampire genes. I have neither of those," he growled. "What if you did though?" Caroline asked coming forward. He frowned. "What if you were turned? Your angelic side will still be there, but your blood would contain vampire genes," she asked. He stood there for a moment and then he looked toward Nova. "Why would I trust any of you to turn me?" he asked. I sighed. "What if Tala did it? What if we met on neutral ground. You and your most trusted demon, with her and someone with her? She could turn you and then when you wake up we would part ways," I suggested. Lucifer stood there for a moment and then he nodded. "Very well. Tomorrow afternoon, 6 pm, we'll meet. I'll send a messenger with instructions on where," he said. "I will do this for you because of the heartache I caused you. But, after this is done, you will no longer harm my children, or bother Michael over this matter," Tala said. Lucifer scoffed but nodded. "Make the pact in blood," Nova said. Everyone stiffened. "Lucifer, would you want Tala to turn you, or me?" I asked looking at his face. "It would be better for me, I'm stronger than her," I stated. "After all, I'm a king as well," I finished. Lucifer narrowed his eyes at me. "Very well," he said. I stepped forward and reached out my hand. My fingernails turned to claws. I slit open my other palm and then did the same to his outstretched palm. "Let it be written in a blood bond that tomorrow at 6 pm Lucifer will have been given the gift of vampirism by me, Wolfram, his great nephew," I loudly pronounced. The wounds healed and I watched as Lucifer turned and disappeared through the gates of the driveway with all of his demons. "Find Josie and bring her back here," I said looking at Dameon. He nodded and was gone in a flash.
