Journal,
I believe I have caught something horrid. I first started feeling bad two nights ago. My throat felt like it was burning and my temperature soared so high that I could almost wring out my bed sheets. After the fever, then came the cough. A dry and hacking cough that has caused me to vomit twice now. It has now progressed into severe pains in my chest and I am struggling to breathe. It is hard to even walk.
I rang in sick to my workplace today, as I have done for the past two days. I have never known the flu like this. Google has been no help, my symptoms do not seem to fit any of the viruses on there. I fear I am slowly running out of oxygen.
The taxi is on its way to take me to the emergency department. I worry that delaying a trip to the hospital may be the cause of my death.
Until next time,
Wang Yong
