Chapter 12

I heard beeping and Liam calling a doctor. All of a sudden my hand felt like it was being stepped on by an elephant. "Marrissa, stay with me!" I heard Louis yell and I felt a tear land on my face. "Oh my God" I heard Harry say from across the room. Louis' hand left mine. I could see a bright white light ahead of me. I tried opening my eyes and this time they did. I heard beeping and I took deep breathes. I saw Louis, Liam, and Harry looking down at me. "Marrissa!" Louis yelled and kissed my cheek. "Thank God you woke up" Harry said with a huge smile spreading across his face. "Are you ok?" Liam asked. I was still taking deep breathes and was looking around. I nodded 'yes'. Then the doctor walked over and examined my eyes. "I'm just going to check your heart beat ok?" I nodded again. The doctor took his stethoscope and examined my chest. "Everything's checking out fine. Try to talk" the doctor commanded. I looked over at Louis, "I...forgive you Lou." My eyes started to tear up. He came over to me and gave me a hug, "I love you." "I love you too....and Harry I forgive you too. Liam, thanks." Harry and Liam walked over to me and I gave them a hug. I looked down at my broken leg, "How long does this have to stay on Doctor...." "Doctor Baker. It has to stay on for about 8 weeks, maybe longer. You can actually leave today if you're up to it." "I think we should play it safe and you should stay overnight" Liam said. "Well ok daddy" I said playing around. "Ok then, if you need anything just ask the nurse" the doctor walked out of the room. "Is there anything you want love?" Harry asked me. "This morning Louis got me something really good from Starbucks. Do you mind getting that for me Lou?" "Anything for you" Louis gave me a kiss on my cheek and left. "Liam, can you get my phone from my bag and tell my girls what happened?" "Sure." I started getting up from my bed and Harry came over to help me. "Harry, I'm fine" "No you're not. You were just in a coma for nearly an hour and you have a broken leg" "Fine, can you get me my crutches?" Harry got them for me and I walked over to my bags. "What do you need?" Harry asked. "Just my makeup remover and hair brush" Harry gave them to me and I went into the bathroom. I took all the makeup off my face and brushed my hair. I also changed into a pair of beach shorts and a t-shirt. When I got out of the bathroom, Louis was back with my drink. I sat down on my bed and had my drink. "You look gorgeous" Louis said. "Thanks, but I don't even have makeup on" "You don't need makeup. I love your natural beauty" I gave him a kiss. "Your friends said to feel better" Liam announced. "Ok, thanks" "No problem." It was now 10 at night and Harry and Liam decided to leave. Louis stayed with me. "I love you" I said. "I love you too. Good night" "Night night" I gave him a long kiss on his lips. He slept with me on the hospital bed and I fell asleep on his chest listening to the steady beat of his heart.
