I apologise for this being so long yet still kind of rushed lmao, but enjoy

You laughed hysterically as you clutched onto Joey's shirt, him carrying you on his back and running around the convention. It was 2012, and it was back to the old Leakycon chaos. This year you had been invited to perform like usual, so the crew was back to perform a chaotic first reading of A Very Potter Senior Year.

You were already half in costume, all you needed was to do your hair and makeup and change your shoes.

"Can you two quit it?" Lauren hissed at you, looking around at all the people watching you.

"We're having fun Lo, you should try it," Joey snickered, and held out a hand for you high five. You gave him a high five. Then before you knew it he took off running and all you could do was squeal and shut your eyes.

"Ok, 10 minutes until show time," Nick announced. "I just wanna go over some quick last minute things,"

You slipped on your shoes and grabbed your script. As usual, the Lang brothers killed it with this script. It was genius and absolutely hilarious.

"Can we go over the scene at the Weasley's house just before the go to Hogwarts?" Nick asked, which required me to go run over a few lines.

Every time I would be in a scene with Joey, the rest of the cast would hate us, because some how we'd find a way to make each other laugh and ruin the scene.

"Have you even read em? Have you even read a book?" You read your lines and sneered at Darren, who was pretending to sit next to Joey.

"Have you ever not read a book?" Darren stood up.

"No," You crossed your arms. "God I can't stand people who don't read," You furrowed your brows. "Ron, did you finish the Hunger Games? I gave you the first book weeks ago,"

You loved playing Hermione with all of your heart. It had been a dream role of yours when you were a kid, and when it came true back in college you were so honoured. You'd been apart of Starkid ever since it first began in 2009. Joey was the person to introduce you into the theatre world, so none of this ever would've happened without him. You were never really close throughout college, but once he started working with you in theatre, you just clicked and eventually became closer over time. And since you were always Hermione, and Joey was always Ron, there was always a time where you were working with Joey.

"Uhhhhhh," Joey drew out, pulling a face that wouldn't have been as funny to anyone else, but as soon as he looked at me and said "yes it-it was a very good uh, game," I couldn't control my laughter.

"Good God Y/N, it wasn't that funny," Darren rolled his eyes, though laughing at my laughter.

"Fuck, I'm sorry, I'm sorry," You collected yourself and finished the scene.

"My goodness how are we going to get through this show without these two screwing it up?" Dylan nudged you both.

The show somehow went well, and the two of you didn't break. Except once in Sidekick, where Joey looked you dead in the eyes as you lay down 'paralysed', as he sang how he wouldn't be the most prominent taste in a dish. Luckily it wouldn't have been noticeable.

"I'm so proud of you guys," Joe laughed as we met up after the show.

"We're not that incapable," You laughed, rolling your eyes.

"Are you sure?" Three people said at once.

"Wow you guys," Joey crossed his arms.

You felt your phone buzz in your pocket. You had gotten a text from your work friend outside of starkid. The text read
