Ch 17

Tommy took me back to the hotel and I asked him to leave me alone. I asked all of them to. I just wanted to sit on the bed and think. Think about what I've been doing. What's hes been doing. He is right. I have not been the best. I started out way different from when I first met them and now I'm just a glorified groupie. I gave myself standards and they are all broken. I have decided that I should leave. And to that, I won't even say goodbye.

I begin packing my things discreetly. I booked a flight for 12 am. It is right now, 8. As hard as it is, maybe it won't be the last time I see everybody. I just know I need a break and they do to. It's been hours since I've been in my room and no one has showed up to check on me which is best. I mean I did tell them not to.

10:30 and I'm leaving. I quickly walk through the lobby, hoping to go unnoticed. Not paying attention if anyone I know is there. Once I realized this is it, I let out a rugged sigh. My eyes all puffy.

My cab arrives and I throw in my luggage and hop in.
"Rough day?" Says the driver, looking at me through the rear view mirror.
I let out a light smile.
"I guess you could say that."

Once I got there, I headed towards the nearest restaurant Inside the airport. Getting myself a cheeseburger and fries, I ate it all within 4 minutes. I never did eat the food from the restaurant. It was horrible. So embarrassing. There he was, being completely grown up and responsible while I was having a major breakdown. When I first met him, right away it was easy to tell who was the mature one. My style changed. My sleeping schedule. My passions. I changed. And most definitely not for the better.

I heard my flight be called and I darted towards the plane, handing off the lady my ticket. I'm then seated by someone who looks a little familiar.
