Jake's POV

He was humming Dear Mr. Fantasy, again, just to tease Teddy.

Jake smiled when he heard Teddy coming downstairs, by the sound of his steps it was easty to say he was angry. It had been like that for the entire day. Jake doing something annoying and Teddy coming in to hurt him again. Jake no longer felt half of his body, anyways.

He was trying to test Teddy's patience, but also, he needed to see when he was going to execute his plan. At that point, it seemed as if he didn't even have intention to actually kidnap Amy too, it could be just a threat.

"Will you shut up, imbecil?" said Teddy. He was walking around the basement, probably looking for the cloth to put in inside Jake's mouth.

But Jake didn't stay silent, of course. He continued with the song.

"What, don't you like my singing?" he laughed. "Or is it the song? Do you like anything by Taylor Swift?"

He suddenly felt how Teddy put the cloth in his mouth again, and he could no longer bother him.

"Oh, coward," he said with a muffled voice. He had already gotten used to the black bandage blocking his vision, he could get used not to talk normally.

Jake laughed at his own thought.

"What are you laughing at now?" said Teddy with a tough tone.

"Can you even understand me, Teddy bear?" said Jake. Teddy rolled his eyes and took the cloth out of Jake's mouth, as he was planning.

"You don't think I can actually hurt you, do you?" questioned Teddy, kicking Jake's chair.

"No, I don't think you can do what you've been doing for the last three days," Jake shook his head, amused.

"You don't wanna see me mad."

"I can tell," Jake whistled, "but, ah, who even cares about if you're mad or not?"

"I know what you think, Peralta," said Teddy, getting very close to Jake's face. His breath smelled like alcohol. "I know you think that when I tell you I'm gonna bring Amy here it's just a threat, but that I won't do it. I'm just waiting for the moment when she's more vulnerable and when she's alone. Then I can bring her with you. I will hurt her, and you'll see everything, I don't care if you don't want to. Then she's gonna see you suffering to your death, and maybe I even kill her."

"You said you weren't gonna do it."

"Can't change my mind? All I want is you to die slowly, but first you're gonna be in pain. In so much pain. And Amy, oh, I have plans for her."

"Don't you dare touching her," said Jake, clenching his teeth as anger ran through his neck. "If you ever do something to her I swear I will—"

"You will what?" cut Teddy. "You're pathetic, you're so weak an old lady could hurt you right now."

"Great comparison."

"I have to go," sighed Teddy, getting behind Jake, where there was a table. They were more syringes with sedative. "I guess you know what is next?"

"Of course I know what is next," said Jake disgusted, as Teddy injected him in the thigh. His head started waggling.

"See you later, maybe when you're conscious," said Teddy. Jake wanted to reply something but everything went black.

Amy's POV

She and Rosa were talking sitting in Amy's couch.

Rosa had stopped crying, yet she seemed very depressed. None of them knew how to deal with so many emotions. Amy played distractedly with her fingers. She had never been to a psychologist, but she bet that the sensation that she had on her chest was the same, since she and Rosa were talking about their 'feelings'. She was aware Rosa hated doing that, though she was trying her best.
