Felix POV:

I woke up the next morning in a really good mood. I had a great sleep and felt refreshed.

I turned over in bed to face Marzia, but when looked at her side of the bed, it was empty.

I sat up, confused, and got out of bed. I heard Marzia in the kitchen, doing something, I wasn't sure what.

I quickly got out of bed and got dressed. I walked into the other room and see my girlfriend sitting at the kitchen table reading a magazine.

She notices me and looks up from whatever she's reading "Hey. Did you sleep well?"

I walk to the fridge to get out the carton of orange juice "I slept really well actually. Best sleep I've had in a long time" I answer as I pour the juice into a glass and take a seat across from Marzia.

She smiles at me "Well that's good. I'm glad"

Then she goes back to reading her magazine.

I can't help but be curious "Whatcha reading?" I ask casually.

She looks back up. "Oh...it's this old wedding magazine. I used to like to look through it when I was a teenager"
She turns the page. "Some of the dresses are so beautiful" A smile spreads across her face.

I smile just looking at her looking at the magazine. Anyone that looked at her could tell that she was excited.

"Already starting to plan?" I raise my eyebrows at her.

She shrugs "I'm just looking! It's fun to browse"

I shake my head "Women"

She shakes her head back at me and goes back to her reading.

I get up "I'm just kidding" I say as I kiss her head before going to find the pugs.

"So when do you want to have it?" I asked as I poured some dog food into Maya and Edgar's bowls.

She looked up, tossing the magazine aside "Have what?" She stood up and grabbed the pugs' water bowls and walked over to the sink.

I lean on the countertop next to her as she filled each of the water bowls. "The wedding"

She puts the bowls, now full of water, down on the floor next to the bowls I had just filled with food.

"Now you want to start planning" she looked at me.

I shrugged, "I'm just..." I couldn't think of any other excuse.

She smiled "We have time. Don't rush it" She pecked my lips.

I wrapped my arms around her waist "I just want to marry you"

Her arms wrap loosely around my neck. "And trust me, I want to marry you too. More than anything, but that doesn't mean we have to get married next week"

I nodded "Yeah, I know" I unwrapped my arms from her waist. "I'm just so happy!"

She kissed my cheek gently, smiling. "Me too"
