12. Lazy Day

Marzia POV:

I wake up, for the second time that day, snuggled up against the warm body of my new fiancé.

I look up and see Felix, still asleep, his longish, sandy hair covering part of his face.

I brush his hair out of his face and he wakes up, smiling.

"Hey, beautiful" he says, stretching his arms out.

"Hey" I giggle back.

He looks at me "What are you laughing at?"

I shrug "You're just so cute"

He smiles and kisses me on my forehead, "I know"

This makes me giggle more. I look over my shoulder at my clock on the bedside table.

Felix notices me looking "What time is it?"

I turn back to him "12:30, we should get up"

At first I expect Felix to protest, but surprisingly, he agrees.

We both get up and get dressed in comfortable clothes. I could feel this was going to be a lazy day.

Felix and I went downstairs, and suddenly remembered that we hadn't fed the dogs yet today.

I poured some food into the pugs' bowls while Felix started to flip some pancakes.

"Wow, pancakes" I looked at Felix "What's the occasion?"

We never really used the stove much for breakfast, so the fact that Felix was actually cooking was weird.

"Well, since you are now my fiancée, I figured we should celebrate". He smiled at me.

Damn, I loved his smile so much. I smiled back at him "Awwww...that's so sweet"

Once we finish eating our pancakes then cuddle up next to each other on the couch and watch television.

Felix, cannot seem to concentrate on the screen though. He is holding my hand, playing with the ring on my finger.

He clearly doesn't notice me sneaking peeks and smiling. He looked so happy, as he looked at the ring.

I decided to speak up "I love it too"

He turned to me, unaware that I was watching him, he smiled and put my hand down.

I kissed his cheek lightly and we watched TV for the rest of the day.

Not really doing anything...

And I wouldn't have had it any other way.
