Edward

"What the fuck are you two doing it's two in the fucking morning people are trying to sleep!" Edward shouted. The hall echoed it. It wasn't just Hannah and Gary. Johans and Hemley were in the back and there were three other teenagers eating ice cream. One was taller than the rest he had gray hair and he wore a purple suit. His eyes matched his hair. He dimmed the music. There was one green haired man wearing a black and white cap wolfing down a tub of ice cream. And a red haired kid noticeably younger than Gary that was dancing to the music but now stopped. "Hey Edward join the party" Hannah started.

"It's two in the morning I've just been woken up thinking someone has broken in"

Hannah stared at Edward he was in his suit. "Oh right the guys didn't get here 'till about nine so we decided to through the party"

"Why of all times now?"

"Ah because they're all from different regions so the jet-lag would get to them"

"What about the servants in the palace?"

"Oh come on we're just teenagers let us have some fun! Turn it back on Steven!" Hannah shouted.

The gray haired boy pressed the button the speaker. Panic at the disco blasted out. Edward stared. The king would be furious. And he would be up for blame. "Haven't you people ever heard of closing the God damn door no!" The five teenagers shouted along with the music.

"TURN THAT EMO CRAP DOWN AND LISTEN TO ME HANNAH!" Edward shouted. Hannah turned the speaker off. She looked slightly offended how her music taste was insulted. She looked directly into Edward's golden eyes. The two were close Edward led Hannah into the corner. "I don't care how or why these boys are here but you better give me an explanation Hannah before I kick them all out" Edward whispered.

Hannah smirked in disbelief.

"That includes Gary"

Hannah fixed her eyes on him. "I don't believe you"

"Oh would you like to explain 4 teenager boys and only one of you up at two in the morning"

Hannah pulled out her pokedex. She dialed her father and put it on speaker. "Hey Hannah are you ok?" Sycamore said on the other end of the line.

"Fine dad I'm just here with Edward and I'm just telling him about the meeting I'm having with other social leaders from various regions"

"Oh that's awesome how are you kids doing?"

"Great but I think Edward wants to talk to you so I'm hoping you could explain"

Edward swallowed.

"Edward sorry for not telling you but Hannah has various connections with other leaders. Like the silver haired one. That's Steven Stone he's champion of Hoenn and his dad owns the Devon corporation. The green haired one is head of a business in Unova his name is N and the red haired on Silver his dad owns a business in Kanto. But thanks for being concerned and wanting to take responsibility in my absence"

"Your welcome your majesty"

Steven put the music back on.

"Is that Panic at the disco?" Sycamore said having a fan boy moment.

"Yeah do you like dad?"

"Like? I love Panic at the disco you have a great music taste my daughter" Sycamore tried to keep calm.

Edward bit his tongue it annoyed Edward how easily Hannah could wrap her father round her little finger. Then again they were apart for over eleven years.

"I think Edward wants to talk to you in private dad so I'll hand you over" Hannah handed her pokedex to Edward. She ran back to her friends and leaped on Gary.

He stepped behind one of the large curtains. "Your majesty it's two in the morning here in Kalos and she and her friends are eating ice cream and blasting music. It's waking up the whole house. What's worse Hemley and Johans are joining in" Edward whispered.

Sycamore laughed. "Edward your too protective that's what all teenagers do"

"Your majesty with all do respect they're not considering the sleep of others"

"Aw Ed you don't know the first thing about teenagers especially these"

"I don't understand"

Sycamore laughed "These kids all grew up in rich households there used to getting what they want. They don't care for anyone else. I was just like them when I was their age. But they'll be wasted in the morning"

"Bye" Edward said bluntly, he hung up. Sycamore was right he didn't understand one thing about these teenagers. He was born a gutter rat and in this palace it was very noticeable. Especially in situations like this. People knowing was inevitable but Edward wasn't ashamed. Edward came out of the curtain he handed Hannah back her pokedex. He left without a word he touched the handle of the door. "Edward" Hannah shouted over the music. Edward spun round wishing for her to apologise. "Can you set up three beds for our guests?"

Edward left without word. He shut the hall door and slammed his fist against the wall. He could still hear the music. Sebastian emerged out of the shadows holding a candle holder. There were three candles in it. "Don't say a thing Seb"

"I wasn't going to" Sebastian said his southern accent came through. The south of Kalos had a really posh noticeable accent but Sebastian done a good job of hiding it. Sebastian hated hearing it and hated people mentioning it. It reminded him of a place he just wanted to forget.

"Then why are you up it's not your shift?" Edward flung his head against the wall.

Sebastian came closer so the darkness couldn't hide Edward's face. "I'm here to tell you I already set up beds for our guests" Sebastian wanted to give his friend a hug but couldn't.

Edward smiled. "Thanks Seb. Truly thank you"

"There's something else on your mind isn't there?"

Edward stared at the floor he didn't want to answer. "The king isn't back for another two days. I can't wait that long"

Sebastian smiled. "Hey"

Edward looked at him.

"Don't even bother getting up tomorrow. As much as I don't want to admit it I was once like these kids. Tomorrow they'll sleep through the nearly all the day. They won't even want breakfast" Sebastian laughed.

Edward smiled. "Thanks"

"Don't mention it us red bloods got to stick together right?"

"Well your's is more of a blue Sebastian"

Sebastian's smile dropped. "No"

"I'm joking if that's what you want to believe so be it" Edward leaned off the wall and patted Sebastian on the back.

Hannah

Her memory blurred as did her vision when she got up. She didn't remember going to bed. She checked the clock seventeen hundred hours. She had slept over half the day away.

Gary

He was wasted. Every move was hard and required maximum effort. He looked to his left a bucket was half filled with vomit. He knew it was his from the jelly and ice cream in it. It smelled rank. His stomach growled. He never remembered vomiting. Then again he didn't remember a lot of last night. He felt hung over. He leaned left. And vomited.

Edward

In a day his boss would be back and peace will be restored. He lay on his bed. He thought about his mum and sister. They never found Jane's body. Edward accepted long ago that she was most likely dead. However false hope is never a bad thing. He wished he had a picture of the three of them. He was starting to forget what his mother and sister looked like.
