Chapter 1 A very short fuse

Side note: I have prepared loads of chapters in advance because Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire comes out tomorrow or when I wrote this (27/11/14) Yes I'm English so I put the day first. Also like the rest of Europe and Canada and some other places. We get ORAS on the 28th of November. Ok fan girl rage over just read.

Hannah

Hannah stared at the ceiling. The whitewash left any colour to seem luminous. Ross and Irwin both watched her. They were waiting for her to speak first. Hannah sighed. Irwin opened his mouth then immediately snapped it shut.

"I know you two are dying to yell at me" Hannah shut her eyes while saying that.

None of them said anything. Hannah sighed again."Let it out Ross, I know your desperate to. Say how I was stupid not to leave. How I should have got immediately behind you once you pulled out your guns. How I make your job a misery. How I'm arrogant. How I'm like my father in a billion different ways. Or some other shit you just want to say to my face"

"Do you not care any more your highness?" Ross asked.

Hannah opened her eyes and sat up. "Ugh"

Ross pushed her down. "Doctor said not to sit up"

"Hey don't push me!" Hannah sat up again.

Ross grabbed the front of Hannah's bed robe. She pulled Hannah in so their noses pressed together."Listen you little brat. I have had up to here with your shit. You have to realise the world doesn't revolve entirely around you. Sure I want to shout at you and slap you. But you don't make my life, A complete misery. Everyone in this palace is willing to put their life on the line for you. You have no idea how much of an advantage you have over, Any other person in Kalos" Ross shouted.

"You think I asked for this Ross?"

Ross' eyes widened.

"I never asked to be royalty about a year ago I live in Sinnoh with no idea who my real family was"

"You arrogant little bastard! How dare you not be grateful for what you have!" Ross pulled herself closer.

"I never asked for any of this! I'm just a place holder. The next in line for the throne and that's it. That's all I'm seen for by my father, the servants, Everyone" Hannah kept her gaze.

Ross dropped Hannah. Ross threw a look of disgust at her. "When I took this job I never thought I would be guarding such a privileged, arrogant little brat"

Irwin stared at Ross. His eyes wide with how she had just screamed at her boss. Ross went outside. Hannah lay down and put her forearm over her eyes. Irwin was still in shock about what had just happened. Irwin stood up and opened his mouth. "Save it. I don't need another lecture"

"I wasn't going to lecture you your highness"

Hannah took her forearm off her face. "Then what do you want?"

"I want to apologise for lieutenant Ross' behaviour"

Hannah said nothing.

Irwin sighed. "We both so worried about you because you're our boss and you're our responsibility. If anything happened to you we would get the blame. That's why Ross yelled at you. She wants you to be safe and not end up in the hospital twice in two months"

"You realise you just lectured me"

Irwin bowed "I'm sorry your highness. Do you think you'll be alright for five minutes while I talk to lieutenant Ross?"

"I'll be fine"

Irwin stepped outside.
