Edward

"Welcome home sir" Every servant in the palace had lined up outside the palace. Smiles beamed on all of their faces. Their true boss was back. Steven, N and Silver had left a while ago. Edward bowed. "It's a pleasure to have you back your majesty"

"You didn't have to go through all this trouble Edward" Sycamore gestured to the servants.

"Nothing is too good for you my liege"

Sycamore raised an eyebrow "Did you break something?"

"Of course not"

"Where are the kids?"

Edward broke eye contact.

"Edward answer me"

"They're both asleep"

"That's not all you wanted to tell me is it?"

Edward looked at the floor. "They didn't complete all the paperwork either"

Sycamore sighed.

Hannah

Her head was buried beneath her pillows. It was ten in the morning and Edward or Sebastian haden't come yet. She was still asleep. She wasn't as tired as the day before. She went to bed at the same time. The winter air outside had fogged up all the windows.

Sebastian

He poked his head in Hannah's room. The curtains around the four poster were closed. So we're the curtains around the windows. He drew the ones by the windows. He was going to open the ones by the bed then hesitated. "Young master?"

No reply. He opened them. Hannah was under the pillow. She wriggled at the bright sunlight. "Your father is home and he has requested to have breakfast with you"

Hannah didn't move. Half asleep she decided to stay still and hope he would go away. Sebastian lifted the pillows. She squinted at the light. "Wake up"

No movement. "Wake up princess"

Hannah jolted into an upright position. "DON'T CALL ME PRINCESS!"

Sebastian smiled. "Then get up"

Hannah

That day couldn't have passed slower her father had to go straight back to his work. He didn't bother unpacking he had to visit the south of Kalos tomorrow. So she and Gary mainly just battled. After a while Gary sat under a tree. He pulled out a notebook. Hannah sat down next to him. The pencil etched across the paper. Hannah peered over at the book. Gary was sketching runes. She recognised them. They were Unown runes a type of text used by the ancient people of Sinnoh to write down legends. "I didn't know you knew Unown runes"

Gary looked up from the paper. "Gramps taught me"

"Your writing down a type effectiveness chart"

"How-"

"The library"

"I thought you didn't like reading Hannah"

"Well I got bored when my dad was out so it was a good way to kill time"

Ross, Johans, Hemley and Irwin watched from afar. None of them could be bothered to interrupt. Hemley was polishing her pistol with her handkerchief. Irwin wrapped his hand around Ross' waist. She slapped his hand. He let his arm go loose by his side. Edward and Ilene sat on some deck chairs on the grass. Edward noticed a stain on Hannah's cheek. He stood up. Ilene got him by the shoulder and forced him down.

"Don't" Ilene looked away. Edward put his handkerchief back in his front pocket. "Edward the guards can guard them that's not your duty"

Edward gritted his teeth. He wanted his boss to be clean

Ilene had a point though. Today that wasn't his duty.

Sebastian

No one heard him come in. My master was out so we didn't know the procedure to take. The only thing we did know was. We found him in my young masters room.
