Chapter 12 Do you two care or hate me?

Hannah

Hannah wasn't allowed to leave her room. It was two am and the balcony was locked. Her father was going to decide for himself what would happen to her and Gary. He wouldn't be back for another five hours at least. Edward and Sebastian weren't here as well. Though the butler's were annoying in their own individual ways, they were better than Ross and Irwin. Gary's maids had gone on a girl's night out as well. All that was left in the palace were low ranking butler's and maid that lacked the status to help them. "Ross!" Hannah shouted.

Ross didn't respond.

"I know your there"

No response.

"I'm hungry can I have something to eat?"

Nothing.

"Hey I asked but now I'm ordering you get me some ice cream"

Nothing.

"Irwin"

The door unlocked. Ross stood in the door way so Hannah couldn't get past. "So your hungry your highness?"

"Isn't it obvious?"

"Then what do you want?"

Hannah smirked she had got what she had wanted. "A tub of ice cream"

Ross didn't move or say anything.

"What? Aren't you going to get it?"

Ross twitched slightly.

Hannah snapped her fingers. "Erm Ross a reaction or a yes would be nice"

"Do you want to me to get you the ice cream?" Ross crossed her arms in stubbornness.

Hannah pulled a condescending face. "Well that is your job if you want to keep that job of course"

"What's the magic word princess?"

Hannah grit her teeth. "Follow my direct orders if you don't want to be freezing your ass off in the rain"

Ross wasn't impressed with Hannah's remark. "Say please"

Hannah smirked and laughed. "Ross who do you think gives orders around here?"

"Fine don't say please but stop getting all high and mighty with me. It's very arrogant if you to think your on this whole other level. As if on a pedestal. Your point of view makes me sick"

"Are you going to do what I say or would you rather explain how you disobeyed direct orders to my father?"

Ross had lost this battle she got Hannah the ice cream.

Edward

"You idiots! You can't even follow the simplest of instructions!" Edward shouted.

"Your worse than the children" Sebastian shouted.

"But Edward we didn't know the balconies were open" Johans said under his breath reluctantly.

"You didn't know! He didn't know! Of wow that makes a shed load of difference! It was your fucking job to check! They're teenagers sneaking out would be the first thing you check for" Edward shouted sarcastically.

"If you think your going to be chewed up for this you can't imagine what me and Edward are going to experience" Sebastian massaged his temples.

The four bodyguards had been shouted at like this since the two of them had got in at seven it was now ten.

Edward pointed a finger at the four of them. "You will explain this to his majesty"

The four of them lowered their heads in shame. Trying desperately to block Edward and Sebastian out.

Sycamore

"THEY DID WHAT?" Sycamore shouted. The six flinched.

"Your majesty please try to understand that-" Hemley was cut off.

"YOU LET TWO CHILDREN SNEAK UNDER YOUR NOSES! WHAT DO YOU THINK I'M PAYING YOU FOR! IF YOU NEED TO KILL SOMEONE EXPECT YOU TO DO SO AND YET YOU STRUGGLE TO GUARD CHILDREN!" Sycamore slammed his fists on the desk.

None of them opened their mouths.

"EDWARD AND SEBASTIAN!"

The butlers straightened up "Yes your majesty" They said in unison.

"You two are excused you two weren't here so I don't need to yell at you" Sycamore said in a calmer tone.

The butlers bowed in unison and left.

"NOW YOU FOUR!"

They all jumped.

"MY DAUGHTER COULD HAVE SERIOUSLY HARMED. I HAVE ENOUGH ON MY PLATE AND I WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO SLEEP AT NIGHT WITHOUT WORRYING IF MY DAUGHTER WILL BE MURDERED OR KIDNAPPED"

The four body guards got one one knee and bowed. "We're sorry your majesty"

Sycamore let out a large sigh. Everything was silent no guard dared break it.

"I trust you day in and day out to protect my daughter. She's the only family I have left and my successor. I want her to live a long and happy life as any parent would. That's why I allow Gary to stay with us but if she's not safe. I can't leave this house. I need to make trips to make sure my region is functioning properly and efficiently but if my only heir isn't 100% safe. I won't leave the palace. I need to know. Can I trust you four to carry out that task?"

The four of them saluted. "Yes my King"

Sycamore smiled. "Great now do your job"
