My Message to the Readers:

Hello! Thank you for reading my book. This book is a Tokka Fanfiction from Avatar: The Last Airbender. It is set after the war ended. Enjoy the book!

I'm not sure if this book will get any reads. Avatar: The Last Airbender was last released on 2005 and it's 2020. I hope the show will still be relevant this year.

Prologue

Third Person POV

It was a bright and beautiful day. The sun's rays gleamed on Sokka's face as he stared at the docked ship in Cranefish Town's official Harbor.

"Guess this'll be it." Sokka announced, looking back at the gaang.

"After one long year, we'll finally part ways and live as we were supposed to." Katara smiled, hugging her brother tightly.

"Well, for me and Katara," Aang joined in, "We're going to live here in Cranefish Town."

Each member of the group smiled as they felt each other's touch. They were the best of friends and even if they were to part ways, they promised to keep their friendship strong.

"Hey, guys!" A voice called out from the distance, "You forgot me!"

The gaang looked at the direction of the voice, "Toph, hurry!"

A smile was plastered on Toph's face. She joined the hug and squeezed her friends tightly.

"Sad to see Zuko couldn't come." Katara commented, "Fire Lord and all."

The gaang laughed. Zuko, despite being an enemy and a traitor at one point, was an integral part of the crew.

"I'm going to miss you, Sokka." Toph mumbled.

"Me too." Katara added.

"Me three!" Aang continued, "We'll miss you, Sokka!"

Sokka smiled. From the looks of his face, he felt like crying but he didn't want to let the gaang know how sad he was because of his departure.

Sokka left the group hug and walked off, but before he could, a hand tugged on his dark blue shirt. It was Toph.

"Thanks for the good times, Captain Boomerang." Toph smiled at him, looking just a little bit off from the location of his face.

"I'll miss ya." Sokka smiled back, "O great and mighty, Melon Lord."

Toph let go of Sokka and Sokka carried on inside the boat. The gaang waved goodbye as the boat proceeded to drift away from the harbor.

"South Pole, here I come." Sokka whispered.
