17-Zane's Reaction

Zane's POV 

Zane was holding onto Rowan's hand, he didn't want to let go, he was angry for many reasons, he finally felt a squeeze, he looked and saw Rowan slowly open his eyes.

"Ro... who did this to you?" 

I Dropped my head trying to make sense of all of this, he doesn't bother a soul...

"LINCOLN!" Rowan yelled as he raised up, almost making me jump out of my skin.

He looked at me, his was in shock... before I could say anything the nurses rushed in and asked me to leave the room... 

Walking into the lobby my God mom looked concerned, along with Mrs. Grey.

"He woke up in shock, they asked me to leave." 

Jazzy and Gabriel walked into the lobby, when Gabriel realized it was me, he rushed over...

"You had no right being back there with him!" 

"You should be wondering how he's doing, instead of why I was back there with him." 

Gabriel didn't have a response after my statement, he knew I was right. 

"And..Why did he yell Lincoln's name when he woke up?" I asked.

Now everyones attention was on Gabriel....

"I don't know." Gabriel said.

"Thats bullshit, I got a text from Rowan saying he was meeting you... and now he's in the hospital, care to explain?" Jazzy asked. 

Hearing Jazzy revealing that bit of information instantly made me mad.

I didn't think twice, I punched him dead in his mouth, 

"Where is he?" I asked.

"There's practice tonight, he is at the school right now." Gabriel said in pain.

I walked right over him ignoring everyone else. I was looking for Lincoln.

"He's crazy!" Gabriel said.

Jazzy leaned down next to him, "You did come at him wrong, you should have said it differently, then I bet he wanted to do that since you came to town." 

"forgive Zane, he's been protective over Rowan since he moved here." Willa said.

"I can tell." Gabriel said looking to see if his mouth was bleeding.

"!Oh my god, we should call the police He could get hurt." Robyn said.

"Lincoln and his friends are crazy I don't know if Zane wants to go up agains them by himself." Gabriel said

Willa shook her head. "That boy is crazy, I think I am more scared for them other boys more."

Practice was over, Lincoln and his followers were the last ones to hang around.

"yo, Linc I didn't see Rowan in school today." 

"Yeah, you might of scared him." 

"Haha, chill we just put a Little fear in him, so we can keep Gabriel focused... we only need him for the season, thats it." Lincoln said.

I was in the locker room, waiting for my moment, I hit the switch on the lights and I went for his friend who was obviously confused, I slammed him into the locker, hard enough he wasn't going to move for a while, sliding pass the other one, quickly taking my bat out and hitting Lincoln in the mid section, then again in his leg. his screaming was giving me satisfaction. I could  see out the corner of my eye, I swatted the bat scaring his friends and they left Lincoln and now I had him where I wanted him. 

"You put Rowan in the hospital, and that is where I am sending you."

I lifted the bat in the air, and right at that moment the lights came on and in rushed Principal Smith.

"Zane, don't you move!" he yelled. behind him followed a few police officers.

"Officers, arrest him, he broke my ankle!" Lincoln yelled.

"I can't move it, I need it.." Lincoln yelled.

The officers reached for Lincoln instead of me. "Lincoln Harris, you are under arrest for the brutal beating of Rowan Grey."
