My mom and the girls already headed to breakfast before the diner was crowded, I was on my way down.. still tired from being up all night talking to Gabriel. Which was totally worth it I even opened up about my birthday disaster.
When I arrived, the Martinez Family were seated across from my mom...
"You and Gabriel were up all night, look at you two." Mrs. Martinez laughed.
"Late nights, early mornings... to be a teenager again." Mr. Martinez said.
I smiled. "It is so good to see you all again."
"Is there room?" we all looked at my dad holding his son, and that girl standing by his side.
Everyone looked at my mom, she smiled. "This isn't apart of never seeing you again, but its the holidays and why not." she said.
"Hope I'm not too late!" we looked at the other end of the table, there was Principal Smith.
I immediately jumped up... "What is happening?" I asked.
"Son, me and Montgomery are seeing each other." she said. My usual and confident principal looked nervous and almost scared.
"I saw you two last night, why are you hiding this from me, it affects me as well... HE'S MY PRINCIPAL!"
"seriously Robyn?" dad said.
"You are sitting here with your son and new wife... don't even start with me." she said not even looking at my dad, she pointed her finger and thats all she needed to do.
"Wife?" I asked.
"Yeah, son... me and April got married." he said.
She beamed with excitement, flashing her ring.
"You are excited about this, you are a homewrecker... you ruined this entire family and you sit there beaming with joy?" Mrs. Martinez said.
Mr. Martinez shook his head at his wife. Gabriel looked at me with concern.
"I guess its I can tell everyone The Martinez Family is moving to Little Valley, Gabriel will be attending school with you Rowan." Mr. Martinez said.
Gabriel and his sister Eva looked in complete shock, Gabriel shot up and left out. Should I follow him, or let him be.
.....
He was pacing back and forth... "Do you know what this means?" he asked.
"No, should I?" I asked.
"I love seeing you once a year, then we go back to our life, my life is football, basketball and focusing on college. I am not out and living my life like you are!" he said.
My heart shattered kind of, is he telling me that he's straight outside of this hotel.
I stood there, he vented.
"We cannot be seen together, I cannot ruin my rep." Gabriel said.
"Fuck you Gabriel, no one even knows you yet and your already scared." I walked away wishing it was the last time I was going to see him, but he's going to be in my life every day from now on.
