"so how have you all been? the boys and taeil?" i asked just wondering what life's been like the last four years.

"we've all been good, i'm finished college so i'm living lavishly." he replies while laughing.

"and taeil?" i ask curiously.

"well he is doing good now of course with everything he couldn't go to college right away, heck he didn't even know where he was going to school, so after he got better i talked his parents into letting him live with
me." he sounded happy.

"well that's good is he going to school now?" i ask.

"yeah he actually is hes in his second year of college he has 2 classes today which is why he's not here now." i just nodded at his reply.

"well that's good, i'm happy for you guys." i had a genuine smile on my face.

"why did you leave right after everything? why didn't you try to make him remember you?" he sounded like he had been waiting forever to ask that question.

"it was my fault that this happened, he was leaving my house. heck he doesn't even have any pictures of us to remember us by bc his fucking phone broke. my fucking luck. then whenever i saw him he looked as if he never had seen me before and that broke me. i couldn't deal with that forever so i just decided to go to college and i hoped the best for him." i started to tear up. fuck i cry a lot and i've only been here a day.

"hey guys i'm sorry i just need to grab my wallet." he smiles as a girl who looks so familiar stands behind him.

"nova?!" she says to me. holy shit.

"mila?" i laughed lightly. "how have you been?!"

"oh you guys know each other?" taeil walks in from the other room.

"uh yeah we went to school together." i tell him.

she then looks at me with guilt in her eyes and i guess suddenly realized that he really didn't remember me. mila and i weren't exactly super close but we had a few classes together. so i did remember who she was.

"you're okay." i mouthed to her. she hugged me back as taeil asked if she was ready to go she follows him as they walk hand in hand out the front door.

"yeaaaaah i forgot to mention that he now has a girlfriend." yuta says kinda shyly.

"it's okay, it's been 4 years, he technically got a restart at his life. good for him at least he's happy!" i smiled and walked towards my room.

"hey nova don't be sad. we're gonna have fun tomorrow night just keep that in mind!"

"okay imma sleep now, just wake me up when dinner is ready." i shut my door after that.

couple of hours passed, i ended up waking up on my own due to the smell of some good ass food.

"hey you're up just in time!" taeil said with a big grin.

i look over and see mila sitting on the couch occupying her self with her phone.

"hey! how have you been?" i ask her, just trying to start a conversation.

"i've been really good. i am finishing up my last year in school then going for my bachelors!" she sounds so excited.

"wow that is amazing! i am gonna take a year or two off then go back for my bachelors, too much going on right now." i let out a light laugh.

"i see america has done you well, you look great!" she sounded so genuine.

"i feel great. thank you so much. you seem very happy yourself! that's good." we kept the conversation going on for a little bit until the guys called us for dinner.

"so how did you guys know each other again?" taeil asked, once again.

"t, we all went to high school together, they had classes together. you know our school wasn't that big." he laughed and you heard taeil quietly say "oh yeah."

"do you maybe have a yearbook from high school?" it took me a second to realize that he was talking to me.

"oh um i might have one from senior year back at home though. i'll have luca look for it!" i reply smiling. he looks relieved that maybe someone will have something to give him a memory from high school back.

"are you going to jaehyun's birthday tomorrow?" mila asked.

"i wasn't planning on it but yuta wants me to go." i give a light smile. "i think it'll be overwhelming to see everyone again so fast."

we all finished dinner and mila left, yuta went to his room, i felt like since they cooked i should at least have the decency to clean afterwards. so that's what i did.

taeil came from out of the shower and walked directly to the piano and started playing.

he's playing our song, but he's not singing.

after i finish cleaning the kitchen i was walking back towards my room when i felt the urge to say,

"that's a beautiful song." i smile.

"it's an old favorite of mine. i always wished fo play it for a girl i loved one day." with that he continues to play.

"not mila?" i look confused because they seem to be in love with each other.

"i'm not completely sure i am in love with her. there's just something holding me back and i'm not quite sure what it is yet. but have a good night nova."

"yeah you too taeil." i smile back to him.

sorry this is a bit on the shorter side, but i've thought about it, if they're a little bit shorter i might update more frequently lol but don't forget to vote & comment <3
