i noticed nova looking over at me once genevieve walked up to me, she quickly looked away and whispered something to the guys and left.

"hey um i gotta go i'm not really feeling too good." i tell genevieve and she just rolls her eyes at me.

i walk out the door to the club and i can no longer see nova, i get the next taxi and tell the gentleman to drop me off at home.

i see her walk into the building hurriedly, i decided to trail behind a little bit i didn't wanna startle her.

it's been a month since she's been here and i don't know why but i just feel a strong connection to her. she is so special i can tell. but i could never get her attention. i knew from the first day she walked in that she was the most beautiful person inside and out.

i walk up to the door but i hear her talking to someone so i decided to stay outside the door for a little bit.

"i don't know, i'm drunk right now if you can't tell." i hear her kinda slur her words.

"he doesn't remember me at all we even looked through the yearbook. why did this have to happen to me?" all of a sudden her tone changed she sounded so hurt.

was she talking about me?

i wanted to go inside but i decided to wait a couple of minutes to hear what else she had to say.

"yeah that was fucking high school and here i am still in love with him mean while i can't do shit to make him fall in love with me or anything." she sniffles. "i still love him."

i don't hear anymore talking so i decided to walk in and as soon as my hand touches the door knob i hear her playing on the piano.

she's playing the song. how does she know that song? she's even singing the words. i then opened the door and she didn't seem to notice me so i attempted to shut it lightly and she turned around quickly.

she began apologizing but i just wanted to hug her.

"are you okay?" she then tried to question me.

"i'm okay but just know that i'm here for you. always." i tell her while smiling.

there's something about her and i just can't shake it off.

the next morning comes and i decided i wanted to ask yuta about her, hopefully he would give me some answers. i walk over to his room.

"hey man you got a minute?" i ask putting my head in the door.

"uh yeah what's up?" he tells me.

"i have a couple of serious questions to ask you and i want real and honest answers."

he laughs and nods for me to continue.

"so." i take a deep breath. "nova-"

"oh dude you totally like her huh?" he jumps up.

"no that's not what i was saying well i think there's something that i'm feeling but i don't know." i cut myself off. "but that's not what i was asking."

"was there any history between her and i?" i look down waiting for his response.

"what?" he questions but he looks as if i just found out his biggest secret.

"nova, is there any history between the two of us?" i ask once again.

"i um, i don't kn-" he begins but i cut him off.

"yuta please, i'm not asking for a lot. i really need to know."

"that's not a discussion that me and you should have, if anything it should be taken up with her. but i will tell you, don't let your time go to waste, if you're gonna make a move make it, she's leaving in a month. and there's definitely something there between you two so don't wait too long man."

he walks out after he tells me that and i just throw myself on his bed.

"what the fuck man." i sigh to myself.

it's now later in the evening and i noticed that nova hasn't came out of her room once today and it was already dinner time. i walk over to her door and knock lightly.

"come in." she yells through the door.

"hey i just wanted to know if you wanted to go grab some coffee? or if you wanna go somewhere else that's cool. or if you don't wanna go anywhere at all that's totally cool."

she laughs at my embarrassment.

"yeah let's go across the street, let me get ready." she smiles and i walk out of her room.

"what was the craziest thing you did in high school?" i ask her wanting to really know the answer.

"well it was senior year and my boyfriend at the time and i were at my house. we had to sneak out of my house in order to sneak into yuta's house but we had to pretend that we were yuta and his girl thing." she takes a second to catch her breath. "it sounds confusing but makes perfect sense because yuta was grounded but his girl thing really wanted him over and she didn't wanna go to his house because of his parents, so i'm assuming you can imagine what had happened there."

"so basically you snuck out of your house to cover for someone who was sneaking out of their house?" i question while laughing.

"yep you heard all of that right." her nose crinkled up when she would genuinely laugh.

"you're so pretty." i blurted out, instantly regretting that i said that out loud.

"i'm not but thank you." she lightly smiles.

why is she insecure for?

"anyway so when are you leaving again?" i try to change the conversation for her sake.

"well i was supposed to leave a month from today, but i thinking about leaving a bit earlier like in a week or so." she looks down once again.

"what why?"

"i don't know, there's just a feeling that i felt before i left and i'm starting to feel it again now that i'm back and it hurts so i think it is better that i return back to chicago."

"does yuta know?"

"well you see." she trails off. "i haven't exactly gotten the chance to tell him yet."

we finish our coffee and we walk back to our home. we walk in and i lock the door and suddenly i feel the urge to kiss her.

so i did.

he kissed me.

we didn't even make it two steps into the apartment when he kissed me. right as soon as he did that, my crybaby ass started to tear up.

"i'm so sorry, i don't know what got into me, i'm not like that at all. i don't want you to think i'm that type—" i cut him off my kissing him again.

this time the tears fell from my eyes and he pulled away.

"what's wrong?" he questions without giving me time to answer. "did i do something wrong?"

"it's nothing, you know just perks of being a girl during shark week." i lightly laugh while rubbing my eyes.

i decided to hug him so i wouldn't make him feel bad about anything. he hugged me back so tight.

after the interaction i had with taeil i decided to tell him goodnight and go to my room.

whAT they finally had an interaction with each otherrrr. also. idk if i wanna make this book a happy ending or an ending that'll make you upset hahahah! also i updated like 2 days in a row i think??? i'm just excited for this book!!! don't forget to vote & comment please (:
