Flames in water

Part 10 "Waterfall"

"Okay, is everyone ready?" you whisper and everyone nods. Mali, Sarah, Luke, Diego, Calum and you were in Michael's room. Everyone was standing around his bed, ready to wake him up and wish a happy birthday. You really liked how you knew everybody just for two days, except Diego of course, but it felt like you were lifelong friends and it was amazing. It's such a drastic change from how you've met everyone, you never knew people could do anything like this.

"Three..." whispers Sarah.

"Two..." then says Mali.

"Now!" you say as everybody yells " Happy birthday Michael!".

He instantly jumps up, blinking a couple of times, before he can finally looks at all of you with wide eyes, a giant smile on his face.

"Thanks guys! Willow told you all it seems" they nod and you take turns hugging him, it wasn't as uncomfortable as you thought it'd be, even with Calum and Diego, Michael was just purely happy.

"Thanks so much, really, we've know eachother for two days only and I get this, a birthday breakfast, it's amazing" Michael says somehow smiling even wider if that possible at all.

"It was Willow's idea, we just participated" says Sarah, giving you all the credit, which was true, but let's be honest, it means more like this.

"Well, I still wish we could go to the waterfall, you always wanted to go there" you say sadly with a small sigh.

"Well, now that you mention it, all of us will be going there to celebrate" explains Calum, you and Michael jump up like little kids getting a new toy, yes, now is it clear why you two got along so well?

"No way!" Mike says, you jump on Calum and hug him in the process, he chuckles. You didn't even care the slightest about how he acted two days ago or that you aren't that good friends, it was in the heat of the moment.

"Easy there Willow, you always made me fall" Calum smiles, everyone laughed at that, you let go of him saying a shy sorry, but oh well.

Thankfully Sarah changes the subject "Girls, my house now" it was a very serious tone. Mali laugh, but you and the boys looked at Sarah dumbfounded, she rolled her eyes dragging you and Mali by your hands. The three of you start running outside for some reason, you weren't sure what was going on, but you aren't going to miss it.

Right before you exited you heard "Diego will be staying to look after everything!" shouted Luke, you all nod and go to your house.

You get in Sarah's room, Mali and you sitting on her bed, after she closed the doors, opened her wardrobe. You had no clue what was going on, but you saw how excited the two of them were so there was no reason not to be yourself.

"Everyone thinking what I'm thinking?" Sarah smirked, that evil glint back in her eyes as she eyed you and Mali.

"I thought you'd never ask" Mali answers with a sly smile.

"I think... maybe" you answer her, unsure of what actually to say. Mali and Sarah look at you with a mischievous smirk, oh boy this maybe isn't as good as you thought...

"Oh dear, when we finish with you, the boys' jaws will be on the floor" says Mali and you get the point, a few ideas popping in your mind, if somebody told you you'd ever have friends like this, never in a million years would you have believed them.
