"Where are you going?" you hear Sarah ask making you slowly turn around. It was about eleven in the evening, you and Sarah were chilling in your house, until you decided to go out. Maybe you should've waited until she fell asleep like yesterday, damn it.
"Um, to the beach" you answer her, subtlety not being your strong suit right now. She squints her eyes nodding very slowly.
"But it's eleven. Also how are you not tired from all the swimming today? I can't move" she laughs lightly, what can you say now?
"Well I'm not going swimming, I'll just sit by the water, nothing more" you explain, turning to leave immediately, if you can just get away before she says anything else.
"Say hi to Calum for me" she remarks, your eyes widen as you stop in your tracks.
"How did you-" you try to ask, but she cuts you off.
"Bye bye, come home before one please" she pushes you outside, then shuts the door behind you. Well now you know why she was a scout, you shook your head with a small sigh, but soon to started walking.

This time when you arrived you didn't sit next to the tree, you actually walked to the beach and put your feet in the cold, salty water. You looked down, being able to slightly see rocks and a seashell as well, it's nice being here, it really is. Soon enough you felt a presence behind you, knowing exactly who it was you turn around.
"Hey, it's been a good day today, wasn't it?" you look at the black haired boy behind you. He didn't expect to hear you talk or even turn around so it took a moment for him to register your words.
"Yeah, I haven't had that much fun in a while" he smiles, but his eyes say different. You deliberated some thoughts in your mind, seeing as he just stood there awaiting for a response, anything.
"Come here, stand in the water next to me Calum" you tell him coldy, gesturing to the water.
"Sure" he takes his shoes off and joins you, with a quizzical expression on hi face. You were thinking of a way to start saying things, he did tell you almost everything about him, guess that you should say something as well, that way you're even.
"You see this necklace here, the one I'm wearing" you take your necklace off of your neck and show it to him. His eyes twinkle against its shiny surface when he takes a closer look. You could tell he doesn't what you're trying to get at here, but still looks interested nonetheless.
"It's very beautiful" he smiles, diverting his gaze at you. You couldn't help but smile as well, only for a moment though.
"It is...it belonged to my mother, she gave it to me the day I last saw her" you stop talking, fumbling with the necklace in your hands.
"You told me everything about you, so I feel like I should tell you the same" you turn your attention to him and ask for an approval. It's very strange doing this, but as you said there is a first time for everything.
"Yeah, of course. I would love to get to know you more" he smiles, you do too, it's nice to talk to someone other than Mike and Karen that doesn't judge you, since you didn't him.
"Okay, so my mom told me that this key opened my treasure of memories which at the time I didn't quite understand" you catch him glimpse at you briefly.
