Finally the evening came. You haven't reached the line yet, but were much closer to them, you were nervous to get into action again though. Throughout the road Ashton got along pretty well with others, him and the boys are acting like brothers almost. You were over the moon that he got accepted here so fast, but that was the effect Ash had on people, you immediately would want to be his friend. Everyone was happy again, despite the fact that you still have a task in front of you. A very big one at that. Currently you were all sitting in a circle around a campfire, your friends eager to hear what happened to you the past few days.
"Okay, can we finally know?" Sierra pleads, showing her puppy eyes.
"Yes, please, it's eating me inside" Luke adds making all of you laugh. You loved how sometimes Luke was more a gossip girl than any of you, you could easily confide in him.
"Since you ask so nicely. Come here Ash" you pat the spot on your sleeping bag for him to sit.
"Well go on then, we're all waiting" Sarah scoffs, you nod with a small laugh. You haven't seen them so impatient since the desert.
"We all know now that werecats aren't extinct. Unfortunately, you had to find out in, not so much a good way" you clear your throat, looking away from everyone.
"It's not that I didn't trust you guys, it's just that I've been to scared to lose you" you explain.
"Did you seriously think we would leave you alone because of this?" Calum says, a sympathetical look on his face, everyone smiled and nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, I did, Michael knows best why" you say, finally taking a glance at your friends. Ash puts and arm around you for support.
"Yeah, we lost a couple of friends. Well, they were never real friends, but you get the point" Michael adds, you nod in confirmation.
"Anyway, you know and Ashton is also a werecat, that's self explanatory. After I ran away and Calum followed me and then a brown wolf appeared. He made Calum unconscious" you say, remembering the scenario as if it happened a moment ago.
"How is that even possible?" Mali asks, a bit of disbelief in her voice. Everyone stares at you for an explanation, you didn't know what do say, but you thought of this.
"We'll get to that point" you kind of hesitantly explain as you glance at Ash.
"The wolf took me somewhere and it turned out it was Ashton-" Crystal cuts you off instantly.
"Didn't you just say he's a werecat?" everyone stares again, really confused. This will be tough to explain, won't it?
"Yeah, he is, we're getting to that part. He took me to his home, deep in the forests of the lower regions. That's where I found my mom, she's also alive" you say happily.
"No way, I'm so happy for you" Mali smiles. "That's amazing, she has to meet mine" Michael adds, excited.
"And ours also" Luke comments, happy to do so. You laugh lightly as you imagine that scenarios.
"Of course, after all of this ends" you hope it will come to that.
"Continuing, in their home they spent a lot of time researching and finding different things and spells. Basically they didn't stop until they found the one that makes you look like a werewolf to everyone else. Your body is still the same but everyone else sees you differently, except the eyes, they still remain blue" you chuckle.
"I told you guys I wasn't hallucinating" Calum scoffs, glaring at others, who roll their eyes.
"I've heard that before actually" Ashton laughs, making Calum chuckle.
