MARRIED TO A KITSUNE

CHAPTER VI

"Get hold of yourself Yuuji-sama!!" Kenta uses his body to go between Honoree and Yuuji. "Whether you like it or not, she's your wife from this day forward."

"What! That's total madness. How can a food be a wife!"

"Yuuji-sama! The tattoo is your pearl now, did you forget that? If you eat her, its like eating your pearl life!"

"Then tell me what are we going to do to that stupid human girl!"

Honoree

couldn't do anything. She couldn't comprehend what the two creatures in front of her are saying. Wife? Eat? Oh god! She sit silently while the two of them keep shouting at each other. She had the urge to stand up and take the chance to run away but if these two white creatures are real then they are what her Ojii-san called deities and deities have magical powers, they could turn her into a frog or a small animal.

"Please don't turn me into a frog!" she pleaded.

They turn to her and fell silent. "Frog? What do you think are we?" Yuuji asked.

"Witches." Honoree answered flatly.

"Witches! The human girl's not just stupid, she's nuts."

Honoree felt the blood drained from her face in that remark. She received far more insults in the few minutes she spent with them than she ever had in her entire life.

A long silence followed. Then they both looked down on her.

"Girl! You need to come with us!"

"We will bring her to the kingdom Yuuji-sama, whether she like it or not." Kenta said. He move closer to Honoree and then to her surprise a white cloud envelopes them before she could even open her mouth to protest.

In the blink of an eye, Honoree was transported into another world she never knew existed. She get up to her feet and looked around, she feel like floating.

A mansion, like those in London that she only saw in pictures, is in front of her. There are sakura trees piled in a straight row. There is an arch made of blooming roses that leads to a pathway to the door of the mansion. As the wind blows her hair behind and brought her back to reality, she realized that it isn't winter in this strange place. The sky was crystal blue and if anything, Honoree thinks that its the most beautiful place she had step on since she arrive to Japan. She felt like floating.

"Where are we?"

"Somewhere behind the Hakusan mountain*."

Yuuji and Kenta were beside her, although it seems like Honoree is oblivious to both of them. She was mesmerized by the place that her deep blue eyes are gleaming under the light. Her curly hair loose and Kenta almost squeals at how childish she looked like. It was the first time that a human had step foot within the kingdom.

"Don't get too fascinated, you're not going to stay here for long." Yuuji said.

Honoree and Kenta looked at him and frowned.

"I don't want to stay here either!" Honoree said.

Kenta tagged Honoree's arm inside the mansion. It was even larger inside, Honoree gasped. The chandeliers were enormous and there are huge paintings of people like Yuuji, having the same shining silver hair, fair skin, fox's ears and stormy grey eyes. The portraits occupy the entirety of the large lobby's walls.

"They are King Takano and Queen Aki." Kenta pointed to the portrait of a middle age couple with red streaks on their faces. "That's Minori-sama, the eldest son, Toshi-sama and youngest, Yuuji-sama." he pointed out consecutively.
