"So he's gonna be staying with us for a bit?"Pepper asked an eyebrow raised. "Why didn't you ask me first?"That question caught me off guard and I look up at her. Her eyes are locked on me and I can see some anger on her face.
"I didn't think you would be upset-"
"About you just fostering a child without even asking me about it yes I'm gonna be upset Tony."
"I'm not fostering him-"
"Boss Peter seems to be suffering from a large amount of blood loss."Shit.
I jump to my feet I can hear someone running behind me.
"Pete?"I yell as I open the door.
I can hear the sink running and go to open the bathroom. But the door doesn't budge, he locked it.
"Peter opened the door. Why are you bleeding? "I don't hear anything.
"Tony move," Steve says he kicks the door, I slip my hand through the whole unlocking the door. My heart is beating through my chest.
"Peter." Peter is on the floor sitting in a puddle of blood. His blood. I feel like I was just hit by a truck though I don't have the time to just stare.
"Oh fuck, BRUCE! GET READY IN MEDIC!" Steve yells I drop to the floor reaching for peters wrist. There slit.
"Why is he bleeding? Hey kid."Steve checks Peter's neck.
"He has a pulse but we need to get him upstairs."I can't seem to move I'm just staring at him. He's pale, too pale. Those rosy cheeks are now gone and the life from him is fading. He's dying. I pushed away and watch while Steve picks him up taking him out of the room. Suddenly I'm too aware, I can feel the hairs on my forehead how hard the floor is. Tears well up in my eyes and I can't even hold back my tears. I just lost the kid.
