Berk Vampire Academy Pt. 1 & 2

Chapter 9

The next day it was practically the same for hiccup. Get up, go to feed toothless, shower then bed. Some people were still being cautious around hiccup, not wanting to upset him and end up with blowing up in there faces.

They were in the middle of magic class. And as usual hiccup wasn't doing anything, just watching everyone practice. He took notice of astrid more then the rest though. She was trying to learn how to make a pattern out of the water in the air. She only gets half way before losing control.

"Your doing it wrong, "he told her, coming up beside her.

"Excuse me?, "she asked.

"Your concentrating to much on it. Just let it flow. Imagine the pattern you want in your head and just let go, "he instructed.

Astrid tried what he said.closing her eyes, she imagined what pattern she wanted. When she opened them, there was her water pattern.

"Wow. Thanks, "she said.

"Your welcome, "he said before sitting back down again. Astrid frowned, she went and sat next to him.

"So what's your magic?, "she asked.

"Um, l'm not really sure yet, "he answered. He was drawing in his sketchbook.

"You have to have one by now?, "she said.

"Nope, "he said popping the'P'.

Astrid knew he was lying, but didn't press any further hearing the discomfort in his voice.

"What you drawing?, she asked. He pushed the sketch book over her do she could see. The drawing was of a dragon.(like the one up top)

"Wow. It's amazing, "she said admiring the drawing.

"Thanks, "he smiled.

She was looking at all the drawings. "You really like dragons, don't you?, "she asked.

"Yeah. I don't know why? Just fascinated with them, "he answered. Astrid smiled at him and he smiled back, but of course someone has to ruin it.

"Hey, babe, "said snotlout.

"For the last time Snotlout, l'm not your 'babe', "she growled. But Snotlout ignored her.

"How about you, me, tonight, my place at 8, "he said.

"Snotlout, "she said sweetly "I'd rather date the devil, then you. Besides I got plans with someone else."

"Oh yeah, who?" he asked raising an eyebrow.

"None of your business, "she growled. "Now get out of here before I break your face."

"Fine. But your lost, "he said walking away.

"So you got plans, huh?, "asked hiccup "with who?"

"You, "she simply answered.

"Me?, "he asked confused.

"Yep. We start your training today. Meet me in the training centre at 9, "she said before walking out of class.

Hiccup felt awful he hasn't eaten anything for 2 days and he's starting to feel the effects. When a vampire doesn't eat every few days, they start to feel more tired and have dizzy spells. Hiccups use to though, having not to be able to eat very often when he was on the run. But this feels different, he doesn't know why? But it does.

It's break time now, and he seriously needed to get something to eat. As soon as he got to the cafeteria, he grabbed a blood bag instead of normal food and sucked it dry in 30 seconds. He sighed in relief, feeling the full feeling in his stomach.
