Chapter 1

I couldn't help but think of Kairi. He was so little, so sensitive, so beautiful. I want him all to myself. I want to protect him. I want to kiss him on his neck and make his little body tremble under my skin. I wanted to hear him moa... "MATTIA!" Ale yelled. "yeah, what's up?" I say back, confused as to why he was yelling at me. "Where you listening to anything I was saying?" he asked. I just tried to look innocent with a smile. Ale chuckled and said "You're stupid. Anyways what I was saying was we should plan to go to the mall this weekend. You, Alvaro, Rashawn, Kairi-"God just the sound of his name made my stomach have butterflies. "and I" he finished saying. "Yeah I don't see why not" I say, trying not to sound excited. "Good. I need to get a start on looking for my soul mate. I mean I'm 17 years old. I'll be 18 years old and I still haven't found her" he said. Soul mates, ugh the last thing I want to think about. See we live in this world where you have a soul mate. When you find your soul mate, you will know. Once you find your soul mate a tattoo will appear on each of the souls. It will be something that relates both together. I don't want to know who mine is. It's not kairi and that makes me upset. You never see soul mates that are boy and boy or girl and girl. Just girl and boy. "I guess your right" I say. "What's wrong Mattia? You don't seem to happy about finding your soul mate." He says in a concerning voice. "I do want to find mine but like we're young. Why would you want to get married and have kids yet? Like we still have our whole life's." I say. This made Ale gasped. I mean I know I shouldn't think this way. "Everyone finds their soul mate at this age. That's just how it works in our world stupid boy." He said. I rolled my eyes. "Alright then smart boy, we have to get to school. Let's go." I say and we both laugh. Ale and I walked out of my room, down my stairs and into the garage where my car is. My beautiful matte grey rangerover. I know a fancy car for a stupid teen, crazy right!

re you ask, no my mom did not buy it for me. I worked long and hard for this beautiful baby. I unlock the doors and throw my bag in the back seat. Ale did the same thing. We both get in the car and we leave. It didn't take us to long get to school. At least with my driving it didn't. I park in my normal parking spot towards the back of the parking lot. As soon as I turn off my car, Ale jumps out and pretends to kiss the floor. I just laugh and grab our back packs. When we meet in the font of the car I threw his back pack as his chest. "Ha Ha your so funny drama queen." "Have you seen the way you drive. I swear I saw the light flash before my eyes." He says. We just laugh and walk into school. "Mattiaaaa, Aleeee! Aye my dudes" I hear Rashawn yell at us. I look to my right to see Rashawn, Alvaro and the most beautiful person in the world Kairi. I felt a smack on the shoulder. I looked away to see Ale hitting my shoulder. I look back and see Kairi blushing. God he's so freaking cute. I say my hellos to the boys. But as soon as I was going to talk to Kairi the bell rang. We both smiled at each other and went to class. I really wanted to talk to him but I guess not yet. As I sat in the back of history class pretending to read, I scroll through Instagram, when I get a text. It was from Ale.

Ale: Hey bud. I have a question for you.

Me: Yeah, what's up?

Ale: I saw the way you were looking at Kairi. What's up with that?

I read that text and my heart started racing. What was I supposed to do? I couldn't tell my best friend that I'm in love with our best friend. I just couldn't. Nobody could no I was gay for Kairi.

Me: I don't know what you're talking about. We're just best friends.

Ale: Don't lie to me. I see how you look at him. Mattia I'm fine with it. I don't care if your gay. You're my best friend no matter what. Okay? Plus I see the way Kairi looks at you back. I think you guys are adorable and yet so fucking blind. Lmao

I didn't know what to say. I guess the only thing I can do is tell the truth.

Me: I guess you're right. I can't continue to hide it. I'm in love with Kairi man. I just can't stop thinking about him. Thank you for not hating me.

Ale: How can I hate you when I care for Alvaro the same way you care for Kairi.

WAIT A FUCKING MINUTE!!! Did he just come out as gay to me.

Me: omg really! I didn't know that, but I fully accept you.

Ale: yeah lol. I'm just not stupid like you and let it show.

Me: Lmao jerk, But wait why do you want to find a soul mate already then. I don't want to find mine because I love Kairi.

Ale: Here's the thing. I got my tattoo.

Me: Wait what! Really! Who?

Ale: Alvaro.. He has the same tattoo but I haven't showed him cause I'm scared.

Me: Wow... Your so lucky. Why don't you show him?

Ale: I'll tell him if you tell Kairi you're in love with him..

And before I can respond the bell rang. Shit I'mnot ready for that. I guess I'm just going to have to see how this plays outbut God Ale is so lucky. He gets the guy he loves but I can't have mine. I packup my things and walk out of the classroom. I have math next with Kairi. Ican't tell him that I'm in love with him. I just can't. I almost reach my classwhen I hear a high pitch voice call my name. "Mattia!" I turned around and sawJenna calling me. Of course this bitch is calling me. "What?" I said in a veryannoyed tone. "Oh don't talk like that to me dear. Anyways I wanted to talk toyou about getting back together. I just know you're my soulmate." She says witha sad face. "Oh shut up Jenna. I'm not your soul mate. I will never be yoursoul mate. I was trying to be nice to you but you're really getting on mynerves. Leave me alone already" I say and walk away. I swear she bugs. We datedonce and I will never date her again. She used me and hurt me so bad so fuckher. I walk into my class and sit in the back with Kairi. Kairi was alreadysitting there with a smile on his face. I smile back at the small angel likeboy. I sit down and gather my note book and pencil for class. "Psst. Psst." Theyounger boy said. I turn my head to him and chuckle. "Yes dear?" "Guess whatMatti!" he said with a huge smile on his face. "Yes?" I say. He then pulled outhis arm and show me his tattoo. It was a moon surrounded by stars. I was sobeautiful. "I got my tattoo! I have a soul mate!" He said in whisper yell. Assoon as her said that, my heart completely shattered. I knew I didn't have thattattoo. I knew he wasn't my soul mate. "Matti? Are you okay?" Kariri asked in aconcerned voice. "Ye..yeah, yeah I am. I'm happy for you bubba." I say tryingto sound happy. There's nothing I can do but support him no matter how much Ithurts me. "Have you gotten your tattoo yet?" Kairi asks me. I pulled up mysleeves and see no tattoo. I just shook my head no. I don't really want to talkanymore. For the rest of the class I just stayed quiet. When the bell rang, Iquickly grabbed my stuff and left. It was only lunch but I just couldn't be atschool anymore. I was walking to my car when I hear the one voice that I didn'twant to hear right now. "Aye Polibio." I turn around and see Tony. I don't havetime to mess with him right now. "What do you want?" I ask in a harsh way. "Ohdon't be getting all rude with me." He said. "Well what the hell do you wantTony?" I say again in a harsh tone. "Oh I see why your mad. Your mad becauseyou're little bitch has his tattoo and your not it. Huh?" A smirk creeped up onhis face. "Shut the Fuck Up Lopez! You don't know shit!" I yell at him. Hestarts walking towards me "Oh should I now? No I don't think I will. Hmmm maybeI should go talk to Cosentino myself. I'm sure he'll love the way I treat him."He says laughing. That's it. I'm going to fucking kill him. I Jump at him andknocked him down to the ground. I kept hitting and hitting and hitting. I hearddistant yelling but I don't care. You will not talk about my baby like that."Reshawn grab his arm!" I hear Ale yell. I continue to hit Tony as the boysstruggle to pull me off. They finally dragged me off "Fuck You Lopez! Fuck You"I scream as the boys pulled me away. Everyone was staring at me. I didn't givea fuck. I kept trying to get away. I wanted to beat his ass even more. I seeTony's brother run to him. I see him fall and yell "Call 9-1-1!". I hearsomeone else yell "He's not moving!" Fuck what did I do. I don't see himmoving. "He's not breathing! Help!" Ondreas yells. I start to freak out. Ican't breathe, my hearing starts to go faint. I suddenly feel something runningdown my side. I look down as the boys carry me away and see blood. I put myhand to my side and when I pull it away I see so much blood. "Guys..." I say.They looked down at me and I hear Ale scream "Fuck" I soon after slip into thedarkness. I hear nothing, I see nothing. It was peaceful.
