Sharing is Caring

So they always say "sharing is caring" but is it always caring? Could there be times where not sharing is beneficial too? Here are a list of things I don't like sharing.

1. Pencils and paper. People quit being lazy and get your own paper. I'm not gonna say no because you know I have paper and so if I say no then you're going to judge me; so I'm basically guilt-tripped into sharing papers and pencils. I'm not your school store.

2. Answers. Now I must justify this though. I don't mind sharing little-thought answers like for multiple choice questions or math problems, but you're not gonna get my hard thought out ideas and passionate papers. That's like stealing my soul.

3. My brother. So you think that after hanging with him only five times counts you as close friends? I'm as protective as a LION over him, so you better get off my land before you become my roadkill. You're not going to take him and hang out as if he were YOUR brother, you're not on the same relationship level as I, so you aren't permitted to steal him from me.

4. Makeup is another thing. Sharing makeup/brushes is actually really gross so don't ask me for makeup.

5. My headphones are the same story. I don't want your earwax in my headphones, okay?

6. My emotions will rarely ever be shared. Yes, people will definitely hear about my feelings, but my emotions are a whole 'nother story. Not even my family knows my deep emotions. I'm just emotionally closed off from the world. Just accept that.

7. No, I'm not going to let you borrow my deodorant. Are you freaking kidding me?

8. Money. You say you'll pay back but I know you'll forget and I will too. Get off your butt and get a job.

9. My Wi-Fi password. I don't know why, but I just don't. Look away when I'm typing it on your phone.

10. Chocolate. If I have chocolate, especially if it's fudge, there's no way you're even going to get close enough to breath on it.

Although there are a lot of things I refuse to share, there are quite a lot of things I will share. I'm not that big of a jerk.

1. My wisdom/advice/knowledge. If you need advice on something, I'm always here to listen and discuss with you. I really do want you to succeed.

2. My opinions. I don't care if you want to hear them or not, they're still going to be said...discretion may be advised here.

3. My food. As much as I love food, I will honestly share it if you ask. If you want a sip of my drink just take it. Honestly. I'm a generous person. Except when it comes to fudge.

4. My humor is always something that I share. Sometimes I might be bad, but at least the badness of the joke made you smile ;) you're welcome.

5. Stories. That's a common one. I love to share stories. I really hope you enjoy them.

6. I'll share my musical skills/talents with you as long as you understand that I'm not here to entertain you for the rest of your life. "Amanda! Play your viola again!" Um no I just did for you like last week. "But I want to hear more!" excuse me, I'm not your musical slave.

7. Germs. Whether you like them or not. If you drink out of my glass, then you're obviously gonna get some germs. Don't worry, Amanda germs aren't fatal...at least as far as we know.

8. Fun facts are always shared when I find them relevant. Fun fact: I've been writing since I was 6 years old.

7: I'll share my age with you, not to share my age with you, but to indeed make you look like an idiot when I tell you that I am, in fact, not a college student. The stupidity is great!

8. My insecurities. If I see 'em, you'll hear 'bout 'em.

9. Instruction and assistance. I'll tell you how to do something if you can't fight out, but I somehow can. It's usually the other way around though.

10. My time. That should be a good enough thing to share. It's very valuable, to me, so me sharing my time with you means that you're someone special to me. :)

Sharing is caring.
