Okay, so the other day at school I wasn't really paying attention in class and I looked around and thought to myself "wow, there are a lot of things that I lie about to myself everyday" (because what else would I be thinking about in AP World History).
So here goes nothing.
"I don't need to make lunch today, I'm not going to be hungry later"
-gets hungry ten minutes later
"First period English is sooo easy to get and A in...I don't need to study"
-gets a D on report card
"I don't need to tune or rosin my bow today it's fine"
-plays out of tune, with a scratchy bow all class period
"I don't need to go to third period band today"
-band class sight reads concert music
"I don't need to take notes in class, I'll remember them later."
-struggles to remember back formula on math homework
"This class is literally worthless, I'm not going to need this knowledge later in life"
-is in AP Environmental Science
"Why am I here? I don't NEED to take this class."
-ahem you need to take 4 years of Latin, Amanda, that's how you're going to get to a good school.
"I don't need to listen to the lecture...I'll just wing it later...not do I need to do my homework for AP World History today...I'll just BS it during Latin class and get an A."
-misses lesson in Latin to write a stupid essay and gets a C.
"I'll do this when I get home"
-goes to bed upon entering the home.
"I'll do this after dinner"
-watches YouTube for 4 hours straight.
"I don't need to do this homework"
-Yes you do.
