Ashtrid's POV
Hindi na ako nag aksaya ng segundo nang marinig na nandito si Eros. Magkahalong saya at kaba ang naramdaman ko.
Kahit paika ika sa paglakad ay pilit kong maingat na sinunod si Roweena.. Napatingala ako sa kalangitan at nakitang papalubog na din ang araw.
Hindi ko nagustuhan ang daan na tinatahak namin. It..doesn't feel right at all..Ilang sandali ay may pinasukan kaming silid. Kumabog ang dibdib ko dahil parehong pareho sa kung saan kami pinahirapan ni Thea... Kung saan kami binugbog..
I covered my mouth because of too much shock, tears began to fall when I saw Eros on the ground. Hindi ko na napigilan ang sarili at tuluyan ng napahikbi.
"E-ros." I mouthed because I wasn't able to speak.
Kung gaano kalala ang mga sugat at pasa ko, tila nadoble ang kanya. That..is just..too much.. I wanted to look away because I can't afford to see him in this kind of situation. But my eyes were fixated on him. Nakakahabag.
Because...right now.. He seemed lifeless. Hindi..ako sanay. Hindi ako sanay na makita siyang ganito.. Palaging malakas siya pero ngayon...parang wala na siyang buhay na nakasandal sa pader at nakapikit.
Parang nawalan ako ng lakas habang humahakbang palapit sa kanya. My lips trembled as I cried more.. I kneeled down in front of him to see him nearer.. Pero mas napaiyak lang ako nang malapitan ko siyang natitigan.
"E-eros." I whispered and touched his cheeks. Ingat na ingat kong ginawa iyon dahil sa takot na mas masaktan pa siya dahil sa sugat.
He slowly opened his eyes, my heart broke when it met mine. Nanlaki ito at namula. I saw his eyes twinkled upon seeing me.
Inayos niya ang upo nang makita ako. He flinched a bit but he was able to shift his seat.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Does it hurt?" He asked when he touched the wound on the side of my lips using his thumb.
I bit my lip to prevent my tears from falling. My shoulder shuddered and just covered my face with my palms. At mas naiyak lang ako..
"How...can you worry about me? Look... at yourself." I mumbled in between of my sobs.
Halos mamatay na siya sa daming sugat tapos ako pa ang inaalala niya. How can you be so selfless, Eros? Mas humikbi lang ako nang pinunasan niya ng luha ko habang hirap na hirap na huminga.
He smiled at me and sighed.
"I'm so glad you're fine.." My heart broke even more.
I can't afford to look at him with his state but his voice.. I missed him so much! I badly want to hug him but I know it'll cause him pain!
