Derrick's POV
"Thank you!" a sweet and soft voice made me stiffened.
Hindi ko napigilan ang hindi ngumiti dahil sa taglay niyang ganda.
"What's your name?" I asked, not breaking my stares.
"Roweena, ikaw?"
"Derrick." pagpapakilala ko naman. I smiled more as I stared at her. She's...just so beautiful.. I can't help but to admire every detail of her face.
Nanlaki naman ang mata niya nang bumaling akin.
"Derrick Monroe?" She confirmed.
Tumango naman ako, namula siya at tumingin sa ibang direksiyon na para bang nahihiya.
"Then, kapatid ka ni R-radrick?" She asked in a shy and gentle voice.
Napatango nalang ako at ngtatakang tumingin sa kanya. Nanlaki ang mata niya nang mapatingin sa likod ko. Pinagmasdan ko na lang siyang tarantang tumakbo paalis.
Gusto ko mang pigilan ay tuluyan nang nakaalis. Gusto...ko siyang makilala pa.
"Hey, firing?" Biglang sulpot ni Radrick sa likod ko.

I kept for years what I truly feel about Roweena. Tiniis ko ang mga oras na magkasama sila ng kapatid ko. Kahit..masakit. Kahit inggit na inggit ako. Hindi ako nagsalita. I..wished she likes me.
I fucking liked her first. But I can't do anything about it.
"Why...do you like my brother?" I asked Roweena when we're alone in front of the lake.
She's been waiting for my brother and just patiently sitting on the grass. Lumukob nanaman ng inggit sa dibdib ko at hiniling na sana...ako na lang ang hinihintay niya ngayon.
She shifted her seat and covered her face as if she's blushing. I just watch her inhaled deeply as her eyes twinkled as she started telling how she feels towards my brother. And it fucking hurts like hell.
"I just...like him so much!" She exclaimed.
Pilit akong ngumiti at bumuntong hininga.
"How about you, Derrick? Sino ang gusto mo?"
I was left speechless when she asked that. I let out a nervous laugh and stared at her, who's now waiting for answer.
"You.." sambit ko. Napatigil siya at nawala ang ngiti sa labi.
