Anxiety

"no millie!" noah yelled, mimicking millie's accent, as he chased her around set. millie had grabbed noah's phone straight out of his hand and took off. now everyone say there and laughed at the ridiculously hilarious behavior the two of them had.

"c'mon noah! we're rooting for you!" gaten yelled, cupping his hands around his mouth to raise his voice.

suddenly, karine walked in and saw noah chasing millie around the building. her jaw dropped as she realized what was happening.

"noah cameron schnapp!" karine tried not to laugh as she lectured her son. "sit down. stop misbehaving." noah smirked as he walked back to sit down beside of lorelei.

"sorry, mom." he tried not to laugh as he saw the rest of his friends trying not to laugh with him.

"yeah, noah cameron schnapp. sit down." lorelei teased after karine had walked away. the cast burst into a fit of laughter from the remembrance of what happened a few moments before.

"shut up, lorelei adelaide adkins." noah teased back. both of them smiled and laughed even harder than before.

after calming down, all of them talked while waiting to be called in by the duffers. today was their last day of rehearsal. the whole week they had been rehearsing only with the group they would preform on screen with. they were on the last few scenes of the last episode and everyone was stoked about being able to film soon. it had already been almost three weeks since everyones arrival and no filming had been done.

"ok, we need lorelei and noah for the last scene rehearsal of the entire season." matt duffer smiled, putting smiles on everyone else's faces.

once noah and lorelei had come back to their apartment, they found their mothers already back home. the two older women were sitting on the couch sipping red wine as they heard the door shut to reveal their children.

"hey, mom." noah smiled as he took of his shoes, lorelei stood beside him and did the same.

"hey, sweetheart. how about you and lorelei go watch a movie or something while i talk with mrs. adkins?" karine smiled and noah nodded before he walked down the hallway to his room, lorelei trailing behind.

"oh my god, rory." noah smiled as he flopped down on his bed. rory was the nickname he had given lorelei after the second week in atlanta.

"oh my god, noah." lorelei responded, laying down beside of him.

"do you wanna play minecraft?" noah's smile had widened from his sudden idea.

"of course i wanna play minecraft." lorelei smiled before jumping up to turn on the xbox. noah had brought his xbox to entertain the cast in their downtime. the girl grabbed two of the controllers before laying back on the bed. noah scrolled through the games until he found minecraft. as he clicked on the icon, he looked over at lorelei who was smiling and typing on her phone. he loved to see her smile. it wasn't very often it happened when her mother was around so noah always liked to take in the moment of his friends smile when he could.

"who you texting?" noah smiled as he turned on his side to face the girl.

"my sister, quinn. i miss her so much. before she moved out, we were inseparable. i usually went places with her and her friends. she and harper have always had more friends than me so i usually just hang out with them." lorelei shrugged with a smile. deep conversations had become a regular thing between lorelei and noah. they had formed a safe space around each other.

"my sister, chloe, is like one of my best friends. of course we're together all the time because we live together and we're twins, but it's like she's one of the only people i can relate to the most with and she's always so helpful about everything." noah smiled at the thought of being with his sister again.

"that's how i am with quinn, except she is my best friend. there's probably one person i would chose over her on this entire planet." her green eyes beamed with admiration towards her sister. she wanted to be so much like her.

"i'm sure you'll find other friends as time moves." noah smiled. something sparked between the two of them as he pushed the hair out of lorelei's face. "i feel like i know you so well already." noah's smile turned into a hesitant chuckle, scared he would regret his words later. lorelei smiled back at him before responding to his statement

"you barely even know me."
