Anxiety

"sadie. i don't like him! you're insane!" lorelei smiled.

"you do! it's so obvious and he definitely likes you too!" sadie smiled back, poking lorelei's sides to tease her. for almost thirty minutes, sadie had been trying to convince lorelei to tell her that she likes noah. not tell her, but admit it. it was so obvious that even karine could tell. none of them, but sadie, were brave enough to say anything.

"yeah, ok." lorelei rolled her eyes, trying to fight the smile forming on her face.

"then why are you smiling!" sadie pointed out as millie entered the room. they were all currently at sadie and millie's apartment having a sleepover. "millie, don't you think lorelei and noah act like they like each other?"

"oh, totally. noah's never looked at anyone that way." millie confirmed with her thick british accent and a blank expression.

"see, lore! you one hundred percent like him and everyone can tell!" sadie's smile grew as she thought about how cute of a couple the two would be.

"i'm being serious! we don't like each other!" lorelei's smile was now forcing itself onto her face. there's no way she could hide it now. it was out in the open and she knew sadie would go nuts over it.

"yeah, whatever." sadie rolled her eyes, not convinced at all. "i'm just saying, when you guys get married i better be there."

"sadie!" lorelei laughed, hitting sadie with her pillow.

"i'm sure the boys are talking all about it, right mills?" sadie smiled, turning her attention to millie who was on her phone. "millie?"

"huh?" millie asked, finally paying attention. she had been texting or looking at something through the entire conversation. she didn't seem interested at all which wasn't like her.

"millie are you ok? you've seemed kind of off lately." lorelei asked with a concerned look. millie had always been so sweet and interested in everyone on set so it wasn't exactly like her to ignore everyone and keep to herself.

"oh, uh, yeah. i'm ok." millie shrugged, a smile planting on her face. lorelei and sadie smiled back at her before speaking again.

"there's the smile we've been waiting for!" sadie smiled, lightly pushing millie's arm.

"i am a little tired, so, i'm going to go to bed. goodnight." millie smiled before getting up and heading to her room.

"she's acting so weird." sadie added after millie was in her room. "like, she never acts like this."

"maybe she's just not sleeping good at night. i'm sure she'll be back to her regular self soon." lorelei smiled.

"you're probably right." sadie returned the smile before checking the time on her phone. "shit, we need to get some sleep. it's 2:48 and we have set today!"

"ok, ok." lorelei giggled before laying back onto sadies bed and pulling the blankets over her. sadie followed her actions before they both drifted to sleep.

"of course!" a voice exclaimed as they entered sadie's room. "you're both asleep!"

"noah? what the hell are you doing here?" lorelei shot up and asked groggily.

"all of us are carpooling. we've been waiting for you guys for 15 minutes. i don't know why millie decided not to wake you up." noah said, trying to hide his smile as he sat beside lorelei.

"i'll drive myself." sadie swatted. "i don't have to be there until 10 anyways. i have an alarm set." she added, pulling the covers over her head.

"bye sads." lorelei smiled as she stood up and followed noah out of the room. "i just have to brush my hair and teeth. i'll be fine wearing this." lorelei was wearing gray sweatpants and one of sadie's oversized t-shirts. little did she know, noah always thought she looked cute when she woke up.

noah stood outside of the bathroom as he watched lorelei brush her hair and teeth. after she had combed through her hair, she ran her hand through it to make sure it looked presentable. she smiled at noah in the mirror before brushing her teeth. noah couldn't help, but think about how out of everyone in the cast, he got put in an apartment with the new girl who happened to be his type. there's no way she could like him though. he wouldn't let himself believe that he could be her type.

"noah?" lorelei asked, snapping her fingers in front of his face. he flinched from the sudden movement. "you zoned out." she smiled as he looked at her. they weren't a tremendous height difference, but it was enough to where noah had to tilt his head down to see her.

"oh, sorry." noah smiled back. "are you ready?" lorelei nodded and they both headed out of the apartment. they walked into the hall and towards the elevator only to see an 'out of order' sign on the front of it. "damn it. i forgot it's out of order!"

"ugh, i don't wanna take 6 flights of stairs. it's too early for this." lorelei groaned, rubbing her eyes in the process.

"here." noah says before leaning down. "i'll carry you."

"noah you don't-" lorelei started, but was interrupted again by noah.

"no, seriously. it's ok." noah smiled. lorelei smiled back before jumping on his back. he grabbed ahold of her thighs, making sure not to drop her, and she wrapped her arms around his neck. then, they were off.

"where in the hell have you been?!" caleb exclaimed as noah and lorelei entered the lobby, lorelei still on his back.

"someone's tired." gaten pointed out that lorelei was sleeping on noah's shoulder. no wonder she had gone quiet around the third floor. everyone laughed, except for millie and noah. noah didn't want to wake her, but no one could figure out millie's problem.

"she didn't sleep good." noah smiled slightly.

"awww someones in loveeeee." finn teased with a smirk.

"finn! shut up. she's trying to sleep." noah whispered. lorelei moved her head, but only to rub her face on noah's shoulder.

"whatever."
