Anxiety

it was monday morning at 6:30am. finally, it was the day. the day that lorelei moved out of her parents house and into her sister's.

lorelei, sadie, noah, caleb, and gaten were all packed and headed to the airport. their destination was baltimore, maryland.

"we're running so late." lorelei worried as they unloaded the car. they had each brought one suitcase and decided to share a carry on bag.

"babe, we have an hour until the plane takes off. we're right on time." noah giggled before kissing her cheek.

"noah's right. we have perfect timing." sadie added as she closed the trunk to karine's car. karine was dropping them off because she trusted all of them to be safe and to stick together. she had also talked to quinn that week to make sure everything was sorted out.

"ok, whatever you say." lorelei responded, nervously. she always got to the airport an hour and thirty minutes early to make sure she had enough time. it was freaking her out to be thirty minutes off schedule.

"calm down. it's ok." noah whispered, grabbing her hand, his suitcase in the other. lorelei nodded and grabbed her suitcase with her freehand before entering the airport with her friends.

noah and sadie were right. they were right on time. they all had ten minutes to use the bathroom before boarding the plane. thankfully the bathrooms weren't too crowded.

"passengers, please buckle your seatbelts. we will be landing soon." said the lady over the intercom. lorelei smiled at noah as they buckled their seatbelts.

"quinn's excited to meet you. well, she's excited to meet all of you, but especially you." lorelei smiled before pulling out her phone to text quinn.

"i'm excited, too. i hope she likes me." noah responded.

"she will." lorelei said as she typed away on her phone. the flight was only two hours, but they wanted to get there early to get everything packed. noah would be staying with lorelei until friday while sadie, caleb, and gaten all had to fly back to their hometowns on wednesday. lorelei, on the other hand, was staying with quinn until the end of christmas break.

"is she already at the airport?" noah asked. lorelei nodded before a huge smile spread across her face.

"justin's here, too! justin's her best friend. he's super nice and funny. i miss him so much. he's literally like my big brother. you're going to love him." lorelei got more and more excited by the second.

"ok, ok, just don't run off without us, ok?" noah laughed at how excited she was.

"i pinky promise i won't." lorelei smiled as she held out her pinky. noah interlocked their pinky's before lorelei leaned in and kissed him.

"flight 63 to baltimore, maryland has officially landed. enjoy your stay."

seeing quinn again was like a scene from a movie. lorelei hadn't saw her sister in two years and when she saw justin, she went crazy. she hadn't saw him in four years. he had always been like a big brother to lorelei. she used to stay at his house with quinn when things got bad at their house.

quinn and justin immediately warmed up to all of lorelei's friends. quinn and noah got along pretty well, but justin was still a little protective over lorelei.

"ok, we're here. mom, brandon, and harper left for ohio yesterday so they'll be gone for a little bit." quinn said as she put the car in park and pulled the keys out of the ignition. "i bought fruit and shit like that to eat here. i figured we could at least get your bed to my house by tonight."

"sounds great." lorelei smiled at her older sister as everyone hopped out of the car.

lorelei easily unlocked the door with the spare key before leading everyone to her room. she gave everyone jobs. noah would work on her closet, sadie would pack the clothes out of her dresser, caleb and gaten would work on the wall decorations, quinn and justin on her furniture, and she would pack up her books. her hooks were one of her prized possessions and she wasn't going to let anyone pack them wrong.

"i think we did good." lorelei smiled as she drank from the water bottle from her sisters fridge. everyone nodded with smiles. they had worked hard. lorelei finished packing her books and bookshelf and started to help noah with her clothes, sadie finished packing the clothes from her dresser, caleb and gaten had almost finished un-decorating her walls, and justin and quinn finished taking apart her bed. they had just finished setting up the bed in lorelei's new bedroom.

"we did great." quinn smiled back as she practically sat on top of justin on the couch. lorelei smirked at quinn, but quinn just rolled her eyes.

"so, noah," justin started as noah looked up at him. "how long have you been dating lore?"

"a month and two weeks." noah said with a shaky voice. lorelei grabbed his hand to calm his nerves. he knew this was practically the only family lorelei had and he didn't want to mess it up.

"what do you do for a living? i feel like i've saw you before." justin joked, trying to hide his smile that lorelei and quinn could clearly see.

"i-i'm an actor." noah stuttered. justin and quinn burst into laughter.

"i'm kidding, little dude. you're extremely famous and someone told me all about you before you even knew her." justin teased lorelei.

"justin!" lorelei yelled before hiding her face in her hands.

"rory! you didn't tell me you had a secret obsession for me!" noah teased along with justin.

"stop! it's embarrassing!" lorelei said, her face out of her hands and trying not to smile.

"did you have a secret observation on me, too?" sadie asked with an enthusiastic sarcasm.

"absolutely!" lorelei laughed with the same tone.

"she had a HUGE obsession with stranger things. she took all of the posters and pictures of you guys off her walls before filming started." quinn added.

"oh, you WHORE!"
