Change of Plans

Deku still in the kitchen was able to somewhat hear the running water from the bathroom where Shoto had gone off to. He pulled one of the pictures off from the fridge looking at the cat finally remembering where he had seen this. He remembered helping a little boy try and draw the shape of the shape right of a cat now what was his name. He flipped the paper around looking straight at the name.

Eui Todoroki

That was the name of the kid he helped and here in his hands now was the drawing he had made. He remembered asking who it was for getting the small boy to smile and answer it was for his dad. This made him question Shoto a bit more. He didn't fully believe it and probably takes care of the kids in his free time, maybe that's why he's alway busy.

Deku looked up hearing nothing, just no running water only what sounds like a door opening and closing. In a panic he placed the drawing back on the fridge, rushing over to the couch where he landed oddly on trying his best to look like he was sitting there the whole time.

"here change into this" he heard Shoto said then felt something hit his head knocking him off of the couch. He pulled the cloth off his head looking at what he had tossed looking over at Shoto confused on why he had given.

"A shirt? why-" turning away from shoto face turning red. He noticed Shoto's shirt wasn't fully buttoned and in a panic he looked away "um why a shirt?"

Shoto facing to the side buttoning up his shirt having a little blush on his face from his reaction didn't think he would have a reaction "your shirt also ruined."

Deku looked down finally realizing the somewhat large stain of coffee on his shirt

"Oh thanks Shoto..um bathroom?"he asked, glancing up watching him button the last few buttons up. He followed him over to the first door down the hall giving a quick thanks and locking himself in. He dropped the shirt letting his hands cover his face, sliding down the door over thinking of how he reacted earlier 'he for sure gonna know now.' He felt like he was messing everything up. With a deep sigh he pulled himself off the ground, grabbing the end of his shirt and pulling it off taking a better look at it. There was no way to hide it but there it sat a large stain. He placed his shirt down on the rim of the tub going back to the floor grabbing Shoto's shirt, slipping on getting a better look of the shirt. It was a light gray shirt, something plain and possibly could be used to sleep in it was even slightly long on him. He fixed it by stuffing the extra fabric in his jeans, taking one more look in the mirror by jumping to get a full look the mirror being a little high to see.

He then walked out going down the hall letting out another little sigh needing to keep himself calm. He placed a smile back on his face "thanks um i'll return it "he said standing there a little awkwardly. The two seem like they wanted to say something yet they kept to themselves only hearing a soft vibrate sound coming from Deku's jean pocket.

He excused himself walking back in the hallway taking his phone seeing Kirishima's name on the screen. He had completely forgotten about work after seeing Shoto slightly undressed will just the unbutton shirt but still it took his mind out of reality for a second or two.

"Where are you? I didn't think you could ditch work completely" Kirishima said. He was able to get the kids distracted with a game and Mina was here trying to help cover Deku's spot "get down here quick Mina already said she was covering you but i'm not sure how long she's going to."

A little confused he took a glance at the time "I'm sorry I just..I'll explain when I get there" hanging up on him. He walked back rushing to the front slipping his shoes on "I should drop you off and get to work."

"Are you in trouble?" Shoto asked to get his shoes back on.

Deku shook his head "hopefully not I have a friend covering me"

Shoto glanced down at his phone looking at the time and seemed to go into a panic seeing the time.

With that the two rushed down the stairs getting back to the car where Deku would drop Shoto off then tried his desk to move through the traffic getting back to the daycare.

Deku can now add Mina to a list of people he owns for helping him out. When he got back the kids ran to him happy to see him there and asking so many questions somewhere rather random questions. He thanked Mina once more now for helping with taking care of the kids.

Around the lunch time the two passed out lunches for the kids the two stood over away from the kids having their own lunch.

"Are you gonna tell me why your shirt is different?" Kirishima asked, eyeing his shirt finally taking notice it was something different.

Deku looked at him confused then looked down "oh will there was an accident and both of our shirts were ruin" wrapping his arms around himself feeling his cheeks turn red as his red haired friend elbowed him trying to get more details out from the shy boy.

"And?"

"And it was Shoto. We went back to his place and he offered me a shirt to wear" feeling Kirishima pat his shoulder "oh so that's why you were taking your sweet time."

In a panic Deku answered back "no! n-nothing happens! We just changed shirts and I had to drop him at work." He turned away, no longer wanting to talk to his friend feeling his face get even more red like he could feel the smirk grow on his face. He glanced up looking over at the kids spotting the twins sitting just themselves at a table. He then remembered about the drawing on the fridge and the shoes.

"Do you think Sana and Eui are related to Shoto?"he asked, getting Kirishima attention.

Even Kirishima wasn't sure only knowing Shoto from school and never really spoke with him "I mean..I don't really know dude. Why are you asking?"

Deku shook his head "um no reason."

"If you're curious you could ask him" Kirishima said, smirking while watching the other male jump and freeze "what are you really not gonna talk to him again?"

"I am! How else am I gonna return the shirt"

"Ok ok sure the shirt is the only reason you want to talk to him" walking off to join the kids leaving Deku alone.
