"Amazing, isn't it dear Evelyne?" a sound startles me from the right all of a sudden wondering how it got here.

I turn around to see Alexander with crossed arms and a straight face standing straight by the wall.

"You know, I was wondering how long will it take you to find this, definetly quicker than I thought." He approaches me and stands in front of me with the magical dust still floating between us. "But sadly, it's not time."

With that, he places both his hands on the sides of the dust before colliding them together and the magical cloud magically disappears.

I stare dumbfounded at the scene in front of me out of words.

Well that escalated quickly.

"Don't worry, it's not gone, just not here."

"But, but what is that?" in a timid low voice, I ask.

He looks at me like he's contemplating to tell me all the secrets of the world before letting it all out. "Come with me."

The door reopens and he walks in front of me as he speaks heading downstairs.

"Long ago, everyone knows that the humans ruled the kingdoms, but that was a lie, since they were the essence of the lands, they just had a better position, but the world was actually in dooms and ruins."

Is it possible that every time I get to know something figure out that it's a lie?

"But then the humans figured they should do something about that, take over, organize the lands, and thus the kingdoms were born; each creature with a land. But for that power, the humans needed help, they couldn't do that by themselves, and since the witches were the first creatures to support the humans with this idea, they had to create something to help them."

He looks back at me waiting for me to guess what that 'something' is.

"The gem you mean?" I inquire clearly knowing what it is.

"Yes, and it is actually an interesting story on how it was made. See when the creatures took over their separate lands, their powers and abilities were linked together, and thus all the things coming out from the land had a special power to it. But there was this specific flower, only one grew in each land. The same species, but each unique than the other that for a second you wouldn't know they're the same flower."

He pauses as he reaches the front door and head out with me hot on his feet.

"The witches knew that all the six flowers combined would make the ultimate weapon for the humans to take over, and so, they collected them and made them into a gem, a gem that had all the powers of all the creatures; purity and immortality from the angels, magic from the witches, tenacity from the wolves, fieriness from the vampires, cunningness from the demons, and humanity from the humans. All the right ingredients to rule."

We take a seat on a bench in the garden of the castle, watching the stars sparkle with spirit. The wind cold but dormant around us, adding just the chill needed to this conversation as I stayed silent for the most of it.

"The witches had to do black magic for that purpose though, giving them their sinister trait." A hint of a smile kind off appears on his face but it soon disappeared as he continues,

"And the humans had all the power they need in that one gem, had all the kingdoms wrapped around their grip. The gem gave them enough power to take over, defeat, and improve the lands and people they wanted."

He pauses for another second gazing at the stars along with me. We sit in peaceful silence and I start seeing figures form in front of me in the sky, a woman and a man stood so scared as they touch her belly, she seems to be pregnant.
