"Woah woah slow down, what are you talking about?"

Davien and I got back home and were having our last meal in tenacious tails before we head back to the road.

After we were finished with Xavier's visit, we got out of there a bit shaken with a lot of questions in our heads, and I was determined to tell Davien everything.

"Look, I know this may come shocking to you love, and it may not be easy, but I need you to hear me out till the end." He has his eyebrows frowned waiting for clarification.

"The day before we left sinister spells, I was headed to Merlin's office."

I close my eyes, take a deep breath, and then open them again, "while I was walking, I heard three witches speaking about something. I know it's not nice to eavesdrop, but I had to. So to cut the crap, they were talking about a boy whom they raised I suppose and took care of,"

I pause taking a look at him as his features start to shift into those of recognition, and that just serves to prove my point true over and over.

"But that is not everything they did, they also put a spell on the boy to keep his true identity hidden. They seemed afraid of something, something I just found out this morning. Davien you are a hybrid, a werewolf alpha." I smile with tears in my eyes and my hands on his as he damn well seems shocked with all this new information.

There is a minute of silence between us, and everything seems to have gone still. The air around us freezes, so does his hands. For a second I feel bad for telling him, but then again he deserves to know.

His hand shakes in my hold and he opens his mouth to speak but closes it back again.

"I know this sure has shocked you baby, and I'm sorry if this bothered you," I reach out my other arm to caress his cheek and turn his face to face me. "We will get through this together baby, I promise."

"I-I'm a hybrid...I'm a disappointment, an outcast." He says after pausing for a while.

"No no baby you are not an outcast, in fact, you are the most amazing and absolutely fascinating person I have ever known. What you are doesn't define you, and you have proved that for everyone out there, and I am proud of being your soul mate and not anyone else's." he looks at me with dismay and it makes my heart break into pieces.

"All my life, I thought I was the problem, that I deserved not to be known, to be a no body, just to find out that I was actually lied to my whole life, and by the people who raised me up. How ironic?" He lets out a cynical laugh as he covers his eyes with his hand.

I bite the corner of my lip lost in this moment and completely oblivious to what will happen next.

I expect Davien to lash out on his surroundings, to let his anger out, but he surprised me by being the calm thoughtful alpha he is supposed to be and held it all together. But deep down I know he is a bit upset and questioning everything at the moment.

"Davien, Davien stop. Look at me, you are the perfect leader, and what makes you more special is that you didn't know what you are and grew into a wonderful person. Just please talk to me." I beg seeing he needs a hint to talk, but it was otherwise.

"I'm fine. Get ready we leave in a bit." He demands and it is now that I realize the authority in his voice, the way he sounds all alpha like, and it all makes sense.

He gets up and leaves me hanging all alone in this swirl of a wicked world, and I couldn't hate it any more.

"You're leaving already?"

We meet with Noah at the car in front of the hut while Davien and I move our things into it.
