Chapter 1: A vivid dream

The quiet whispers and continuous scratching makes Kate jolt up she opened her eyes and she remembered where she was the same endless black lonely void as before as dark and surreal as the last time except she couldn't move something was stopping her from running but what or is it a who she remembered the figure with a mysterious ego who was walking toward her could he have done it could he be a physical like being and what did he want to kill her to harm her she tried to bite her way to try to find what holder her back and realized they were chains that cuffed her front and back paws she felt helpless, alone, unprotected, and vulnerable she tried to bite her way out of the metal chains but to no avail it was in fact as if a jail a prison stuck in her mind like a trap she whimpered and howled what would her parents say what advice would they have given? The thought of her ending like her parents only made the chains surrounding her stronger she screamed for help but nobody heard her this pain she felt ached as she heard faint laughter coming from all ends around her the same sickly laugh that came before the figure showed itself and the laughter grew louder and louder it was close and Kate wasn't backing out of what could be a fight she breathed in and out trying to calm herself of the danger that was amiss the splashes of nothing began to be heard and torches with green like fire covered the dark void with light the figure stood grinning down at her Kate growled its appearance erked her as if she knew it and the energy felt strangely familiar the figure only stood laughing as if it found amusement in her pain she tried to see what it looked like it appeared to have a similar appearance to her wolf like except it had green and purple scales that appeared to be armor it had disheveled fur periwinkle like color he was dirty he finally spoke well Kate it's sad the last time I heard of you was when my father said you were hard to beat strong as a wilder beast Kate snarled and replied out of anger you don't have a father the figure stood oh Kate we have some things in common Kate growled we have nothing in common She said oh really cause I thought you didn't want this journey to be over we both have a thirst for battle something my father had before you killed him and my mother Kate was horrified could it be Kate didn't respond the figure stood before her laughing in delight she was compelled to learn its name but kept quiet the figure spoke you know I've never really thought of it but my parents had no time to name me so you can call me unknown Kate gulped but this time didn't hold back so Unknown I've felt like Lord blazen your father never fully died when he turned to stone I believe his spirit latched on to yours and maybe you need help to find your true self the figure looked angrier look I'm here to advenge my parents and make you pay for killing them that my queen you can't argue over that's what made you start the war for your throne anyway with all your weak friends they're not weak they've come a long way they have purpose unlike you and your parents the figure broke Kate's chains and chuckled you could run I won't stop you but in your heart you don't want to you want to fight me so let's battle end this here and now Kate's stomach turned No the figure smirked listen you will fight me because i might know a secrete your parents haven't told you and it might change your thoughts about my parents Kate closed her eyes and gave in ok let's fight the figure shot a green flame from its paw and shot it at Kate but Kate didn't move so feared her demise and to her this world could have her and she didn't care. Bucky and Twinkle paw paced around the halls thinking of a way to break the lock and help Kate Bucky tried spitting glass icicles at the door knob but it didn't budge the icicles hit the wall and melted on the royal carpet until Bucky had an idea and Twinkle paw watched as Bucky walked around the royal curve and vanished from her eyes view. Kate dodged quickly before the fire ball could hit her that could have been the end Unknown stood it grasped a rock with its tail and shot it at Kate and once again dodged the rock spilt lava out of it like a grenade Unknown had an evil chuckle as he said", what good is a queen that can't defend for herself Kate was angry the thirst for battle took over her and she pushed light purple spheres at him unknown dodged the attack and counteracted it with another lava ball Unknown scrambled his best attack but this time it had no time Kate blew translucent flower petals at him and light purple spheres as Unknown dodges it Unknown laughed once more you know someone once said that you could not be beat but thanks to my father that might change Kate swallowed the lump in her throats what did it mean by change Kate without another moment put her paws in the air and tried as hard as she could but no orb came from her paws she couldn't attack she was powerless and vulnerable and he was strong Unknown laughed well mystical Kate Goodbye he shot two green rocket like fire at Kate and it hit her she saw him vanish and before her it all went black. Bucky twinkle paw shouted but he didn't answer King Bucky the Buck tooth bunny again no replies could he have forgotten but as soon as she was going to call again BOO! Bucky twinkle paw said stepping back out of fear Bucky hooded the keys to the castle doors and took the key with the wolf on it and jammed it in the door the door wouldn't budge it was like magic gilded it back until the door unlocked the two rushed in to find Kate with a tear in her eye it was almost sunrise and her fur didn't glow he called to her Kate its Bucky are you ok please Kate answer me Kate woke u the void dark as ever Unknown must have left how long was she out the faint call of her name was heard so Kate jolted back up and raced her wet paws splashing through the dark void she saw a light and that light turned into a mirror she could see Bucky and twinkle paw there she put her paws on the mirror closed her eyes and the mirror pulled her in. Kate please I can't loose you then Bucky looked down Kate had awoken and is looking fine Kate Bucky said listen Bucky Kate said about the garden I Bucky stopped her Kate you don't need to apologize you just had a bad day besides you didn't do much harm the bushes will regrow quickly they're magic twinkle paw then looked at her two friends afraid to speak guys I have the next mission and this time there is no mistakes General Jacques is visiting and it's your job to please him and do any task or wish he desires and if you don't succeed Kate and Bucky looked at each other out of fear and finished her sentence together He will revoke our position as king and queen and it becomes his by law Kate and Bucky raced down the stairs the castle doors open with marching band drums general Jacques enters in his royal cab and exits he looks at Kate and Bucky and smirks the friends feared of what would come and what General's requests as they greet him and the doors shut behind them general Jacques looks up at them and said", Come on shall we let us begin"
