Chapter 3: The library filled with secrets

Kate walked around the golden tile floor surrounding books with everything she could think of magical latters that move you to a section you want to go all Kate's questions about royal heritage her parents journeys her family origins the day the castle was built all stored in the shelves of books Kate pondered about she didn't know where to start she decided to check the small shelf labeled: Humans and animal archeology Kate was intrigued she knew what the city of ground oaks was could there have been humans fighting along side wolf spirit mania before she was born she searched through the first book she scanned through the pages as her mind filled with knowledge she skimmed through the humans section and the secrets it held shocked Kate before she was born humans were animals enemies hunting to kill them for skin fur coats, blankets, and food before she befriended one they were actually eating animals like cows, pigs, and chickens all the beef she had was her own the thought made Kate want to vomit but it wasn't long before the knowledge grown to much she couldn't hold it in and before long she passed out. Kate had awoken the black like darkness spread except she wasn't on water this time hard rock lights filled and Unknown appeared so Kate you've returned Unknown said in delight oh how I missed you he said Kate barked and then growled the tension between the tomb like room what do you want Kate said Unknown grined I thought I killed you pathetic but I did promise a secret that your parents had been hiding so I've seen you've found the library which is the perfect spot to be Kate growled and what do you gain from me learning this kept secret Unknown laughed oh nothing I just want to help you we are practically the same Kate grinned I'm nothing like you well Unknown said enough arguing now for the secret the book you seek is unlike the rest a silver gold book enchanted power they took and testaments they've told in this book is the secrete key an open door faded beyond the eye could see Kate thought about the riddle Unknown had just gave but before thought the light came and she was back in the library Kate walked around the library and searched the shelves some were red, some were green, others were blue, and some were grey but no gold silver book Kate thought Unknown had lied about the book until she saw the shiny cover that was gold and silver she thought about the next part of the riddle the enchanted power they took the book had power but why would it be so great to steal it she opened the book the shiny white pages were mesmerizing could this be the power the riddle had foretold but there was no secrete key or an open door Kate mumbled what she wanted to know and the book flipped it's pages too a blank paper Kate put her paw on it and a gold rim formed around her paw as words begin to show the secret key was there it was hard to see the fading writing she tried to read it and the secret made Kate realize that her parents had a guilt that changes everything about what this castle stands for what she stands for her parents had a guilty charge of gambling king flame Lord Blazen's father Kate read on General Jacques was right but why would they do it Kate knew it didn't sound like them it goes on by saying that because her father was chosen instead of lord blazen that the castle wasn't officially bought so he and queen bloom gambled to pay the rent Kate was shocked the book has shown a secret that not only changes her perspective but proves she's illegally queen she skimmed she then came across another blank page Kate closed her eyes and put a paw on the book and she asked about how queen candy corn began to be and the pages flipped and she began to read queen candy corn was born and her parents gave up the throne and left their daughter in charge but it's power turned her evil and to the kingdom made their hearts forget the past queen and king and became to love queen candy corn Kate closed the book its power had grown to much for her soul could have but there had to be more secrets that's for sure but what should she search next until she uncovered the top shelf and one book stuck out the titles read: the acient history of the weakness, the curse, and the antidote but this had made no sense she remembered what lord blazen did to her before she defeated him but could that have been a weakness she gained be a curse she shot the book out of the shelf and opened it the pages were breathtaking she scrolled and scrolled and found the weakness labeled moon that was her weakness she searched and found the text for moon substance ancient wolves believed the moon was a powerful gain but some found pain in it's beauty the moon can enchant as well as it can curse some believed that the moon took control over you and you'll be taken into certain depths of death and despair others believed the moon held a certain evil that could transform the wolves hearts into dark and vile a tear ran from Kate's eyes could it be that Unknown is evil and transforming her do to the same she threw the book against the wall as the book's pages teared and ripped Kate ran as the doors opened and shut Kate ran up the stairs and ran into Bucky. Kate bucky said I have something important to tell you Kate wiped her tears and nodded Bucky Kate said seriously if I told you promise you won't run Bucky nodded if I tell you do you promise you won't tell anyone ok Kate and Bucky both noddded as they took a deep breath they put their paws together to hold hands as they proceed to tell each other what they've discovered
