Jachary Oneshots.

Lies.

"Hey, Zach! I was talking to Daniel and I found out that Jack Avery likes you!" Jonah grinned.

"W-what? Really?"

"Mhm! He wanted to set up a date but was too much of  a wimp to ask you himself." Daniel barged in.

3 years ago, Zach was told that Jack Avery liked him. He was told that the curly-headed boy was his secret admirer during Valentine's. He was told. Zach, being the fool he was, believed them and met up with the older. They had gotten together and were happily in love. Until one day, during a drunken game of Truth or Dare, Jonah exposed himself to his lies. Both Daniel and Jonah had been guilty of lying. Jack and Zach's entire relationship had been built off of lies. 

Now, Zach sat in his bedroom, on the floor, no longer crying. He was just staring at the wall as if the wall would cure all his problems in one snap of a finger. Walls...fingers...walls don't have fingers... nevermind! Zach frowned out the wall and finally stood up (his knees cracked and he almost fell over). Looking around the room, he smiled sadly. All those memories he and Jack had shared together. The first time they kissed. The second time. The third and even the last. After Jack and Zach had found out the truth, both had been hurt. Jack had gone to his house, while Zach had gone to his own. 

Zach sighed and glanced at his dog Coco. 

"What do you think I should do, Coco?" Zach asked the dog. Coco barked, wagging her tail. Zach huffed.

"Well, you're no use."

"Are you talking to a dog?" Ryan asked, poking his head into the room.

"Don't act as if you don't, Ry."

Ryan scoffed and sat down on the bed, scratching Coco behind her ear. "Why are you so depressed?"

"Eh."

"I was hoping you'd break into your sob story and then we could've built on from then...but of course you didn't, Zach. You're one in a million." Ryan rolled his eyes. 

"Sob story? Built on? I- What are you talking about?" Zach lied.

"Don't act like you know I don't know. Jonah told me."

"Of course he did."

"He's your best friend Jonah. He cares about you. You haven't talked to any of them since you found out."

"Some friend. he lied to me! He made me believe that Jack liked me! But he didn't. I bet he got together with me because Daniel told him to pity me or something."

"Do you really think that?" Ryan asked. "Jack liked you from the beginning. You two were just too stubborn, oblivious and doubtful to admit your undying love for each other. You needed a little push. A small one."

"It wasn't a small push, Ry" Zach snapped. "it was a huge lie."

"But look where you are now! If it hadn't been for Jonah, Corbs and Daniel, you'd still be Jack's friend."

"CORBYN!? CORBYN WAS PART OF THIS!?"

"Of course he was! He gave them the idea" Ryan answered. "maybe I shouldn't have said that...Anyways! You're happy with Jack. You two love each other. Why should it matter if there were a few lies to get you together? I wouldn't call them lies...compromises."

"Does he know? Did he know?"

"No. Jack didn't know. He liked you too. He was just too much of a dweeb to tell you. He was denying it too. But when Daniel told him that you liked him, he literally looked like a rainbow and Cupid gave birth to him. After a while, he acknowledged his feelings and embraced the gay!"

"But...does he...does he still want m- does he still want to-"

"Of course I do." A voice said from behind. "One lie won't make me stop loving you." Zach turned away from Ryan and smiled at his boyfriend. 

"Really?"

"Trust me. For a bit, I was pissed. I thought you already knew. But then Corbyn barged into my room and explained Jonah and Daniel's actions. And that you didn't know." Jack wrapped his arms around Zach's waist and kissed the top of his head.

"ewwwww....gross..." Ryan grumbled, slipping out of the room. Jack laughed.

"You know it was Corbyn's idea, right, Jack?" Zach raised his eyebrows.

"Wait...what!? I should've known. Only Corbyn could come up with such a shitty idea."

"True! Well, maybe we owe Corbyn, Daniel and Jonah."

"And Ryan." Jack said.

"What d'you mean 'and Ryan'?" Zach asked, dumbfounded.

"He helped."

"RYAN HERRON GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE!"

"THE PERSON YOU ARE TRYING TO REACH IS NOT AVAILABLE." Ryan hollered.
