"You okay, Dems?" I weakly smiled at Jill and nodded.
"Yeah, I just keep getting headaches."
"You think you should get it checked out?" I nodded with a sigh, glancing over at Peyton who was happily posing for Angelo. I have never seen such a camera-ready child.
"Probably but with planning for the wedding, spending time in the studio and looking after Peyton, I haven't really thought about it" Jill stroked a strand of hair behind my ear and gave me a small smile.
"You need to make time to look after yourself too" I remained quiet as I nodded. "Peyton is such a confident little boy" the mention of my baby caused the smile on my face to widen. I glanced back to Peyton who was pouting at Angelo as he snapped away with his camera.
"Yeah, he's so sassy too. He had his first tantrum a couple days ago. It's safe to say I'm not looking forward to his terrible twos" Jill gently laughed as she continued with my makeup. It fell silent around us, the silence helped a little to soothe my headache.
"Okay, you're ready."
"Thanks, Jill" I pushed myself up from the chair and began towards the photoshoot set up. Peyton instantly charged towards me as I stepped into his line of sight. He threw his arms around my legs.
"Hi, Handsome" I ran my fingers into his hair and smiled down at him. "Did you enjoy having your photos taken?" I knelt so I was at his eye level, my fingers still stroking through his hair. Peyton yawned, whining as he leant towards me, locking his arms around my neck. "I'd love to have cuddles, Bubba, but mommy's got to get to work?"
"No" he nuzzled his head into my neck, his grip tightening around me.
"Why don't you go with auntie Jill? I'm sure she'll read you a story" Peyton willingly removed himself from me.
"Jill" I nodded, stroking my fingers through his hair.
"Yeah, Baby. She's just over there, go and ask her for a story" I pressed a kiss to his temple, the smile on my face growing as he ran straight towards Jill. I watched as they interacted. Peyton absolutely adores Jill. He adores every single member of my team. Jill lifted him up onto her hip, glancing back at me with a smile as she disappeared, Peyton chatting away. He is such a confident little talker for an 18-month-old.
"You ready, Dems?" I smiled up at Angelo and nodded, standing up straight and beginning towards the set.

I quietly stepped into the dressing room; the sight that met my eyes completely warmed my heart.
"He's been asleep for nearly an hour. I didn't even get the chance to finish the story" I smiled as I slowly took a seat beside Jill who nodded over to the book that sat on the table beside her. Peyton was cuddled into her as he slept, her fingers running gently through his hair.
"He looks so peaceful."
"How's your head?" I leant against the couch, my head resting on my hand.
"It still hurts. I keep getting stomach cramps as well. I mean, I'm due to start my period soon, actually come to think of it, I don't even know when I'm due" I ran my fingers through my hair as I glanced to my phone.
"You don't think you could be pregnant do you? When I was first pregnant with Brooke I had the worst headaches and stomach cramps" a weird feeling settled in the pit of my stomach.
"I-I'm on the pill" I ran my finger down Peyton's arm.
"You can still get pregnant, Dems" I sighed and shook my head. I plastered a smile onto my face as Peyton stirred.
"Hi, Baby" he lifted his head off Jill's chest and dove at me, cuddling himself into me. "Did you have a nice nap, Handsome?" I pressed a gentle kiss to the top of his head. "Oh, I love cuddles with my baby" Peyton nuzzled his head into my neck. I pressed a kiss to his shoulder and smiled against his skin. "We can go home soon, Baby" I ran my fingers through his light curly hair.
"You nearly finished?"
"Nearly. I can't wait to get home and sleep. I'd love for this headache to just go away" my eyes gently closed as I remained cuddled into Peyton. "I'm gonna make an appointment tomorrow, get checked out because I can't cope with my head pounding anymore."
"I think that's a good idea. I know you have Peyton, work and the wedding to think about, but you need to be your top priority, Dems" I sighed as I nodded, glancing to Jill.
"Why does everything happen at once?"
"It's just the way the cookie crumbles" I rolled my eyes as Jill lightly chuckled. "I'm sure everything will be fine, D."
"I really hope so" it fell silent around us for a moment, the only thing breaking the silence was a gentle knock on the dressing room door. "Yeah?" the door was pushed open and Kelsey stepped through with a smile.
"Well, isn't this the sweetest sight."
"What can I help you with, Kels?"
"You ready to go back?" I nodded, turning my attention down to Peyton who remained snuggled into me.
"You want to come and watch mommy work, Baby Boy?" I ran my fingers through his hair as he pulled his head from my neck, remaining perched on my lap. "We can go home soon, Baby. I promise" I pouted as I leant closer to him, my lips tugging into a smile as he pressed a gentle peck to my lips. "Alright, I'm ready" I pushed myself up from the couch, keeping Peyton settled against my hip.
