Nick
I watched with a content smile on my face as Demi danced around the kitchen as she made breakfast. Peyton was sat in his booster seat at the table, giggling away as he also watched Demi dance along to the radio. I leant against the doorframe, remaining silent until Peyton noticed me.
"Daddy."
"Hi, Buddy" I smiled over at him, catching Demi's attention. I sent her a wink and a smirk, chuckling as she turned away with a blush. "Is mommy being silly, Bud?" he nodded with a giggle.
"Mommy silly" I glanced over at Demi who stuck her tongue out at us causing Peyton to burst into a round of giggles.
"What are we having for breakfast then, Bud?"
"Cakes"
"Your having cake for breakfast? Aren't you a lucky little boy?" I ruffled his hair as he giggled.
"We're having blueberry pancakes, aren't we, Baby?" he nodded in reply to Demi. "Daddy can make his own breakfast" she turned to me with a smirk causing me to chuckle. I began towards her as she turned back to the stove, flipping the pancake in the pan. I ran my hands along her side, pulling her back into me. She released a sigh causing me to smile as I began to press kisses along her neck, swaying with her to the beat of the song.
"Daddy's sorry" a breathy moan slipped from Demi's mouth. "And he would really like some blueberry pancakes" Demi shivered against me as I kissed right on her weak spot.
"Fine, go and sit down" I chuckled as I released her, turning back to the table so I could take a seat beside Peyton who instantly started up his own little conversation with me.

Mine and Peyton's attention turned to Demi as she gasped from where she stood by the front window, folding up laundry.
"Who's here, Handsome?" Peyton shot up from the floor, completely abandoning the game we were playing. I chuckled to myself as I started to tidy everything away. Peyton squealed as he glanced out the window which caught Batman and Ella's attention, they instantly darted up from the floor and ran towards the front door with their tails wagging.
"Who is it, Bud?"
"Nana. Papi" he rapidly replied as he darted from the room and towards the front door where Batman and Ella were stood barking.
"Don't open the door, Baby" I pushed myself up from the floor and began into the entrance hall where Peyton was waiting ever so impatiently for the door to open. We may have a private gate that only certain people know the code too but we still want to teach Peyton not to open the front door by himself. I ran my fingers through Peyton's hair as I stepped up to him.
"Shall we open the door then, Bud?" he nodded quickly, practically bouncing on his feet. I stepped up to the door, glancing back at Peyton as I unlocked it and I chuckled as he began to dance on the spot. I turned back to the door and pulled it open, smiling over at Dianna and Eddie as they began up the pathway. Batman, Ella and Peyton all darted out the door, Peyton threw himself at Dianna who dramatically groaned as she locked her arms around him.
"Hi Nana."
"Hi Handsome" he giggled, locking his arms around her neck as she lifted him up and onto her hip.
"Hi Papi" he dropped his head down onto Dianna's shoulder and waved over at Eddie with a giggle.
"Hi Peyton" I moved out of the way of the doorway so that they could step into the house. Demi stepped out of the front room with a smile.
"Hey Mom."
"Hi Baby Girl" she leant towards Demi to press a kiss to her cheek. "Is everything ready for Peyton?" Demi nodded, bending down to grab the Paw Patrol backpack from the bottom step of the stairs. He's obsessed with Paw Patrol at the moment. It's the only thing he ever wants to watch.
"It's all in here" she handed the backpack to Eddie. "Where's bunny, Baby?" Peyton pointed towards the stairs.
"Shall we go and get it, Bud?" I took him from Dianna as he nodded, lowering him down onto the floor and I followed him towards the stairs. I walked behind him as he slowly began up them, his hand holding tightly onto the railing.
"Bunny" Peyton squealed as he grabbed the stuffed rabbit off his bed where it sat leant back against his pillows. We redecorated Peyton's bedroom a couple weeks ago and he's now in a toddler bed. The first couple nights it was difficult getting him to stay in bed, he ended up most of the time in our bed but now he sleeps throughout the night without any issues. Demi actually cried as we were assembling the toddler bed, blubbering about how he's growing up too fast.
"Got it."
"Let's go then, Bud. You excited to stay with nana and papi tonight?" he nodded up at me as he took a hold of my hand as we began from the room and back towards the stairs. He tucked bunny under his arm so his other hand was free to hold onto the railing as we began downstairs and towards Demi and her parents. He attached himself to Dianna as we approached them, settling against her as she lifted him up and onto her hip.
"Make sure you have fun with nana and papi, okay, Baby?" Peyton nodded, leaning towards Demi with a pout. "Aww, Honey. I love you" she leant to press a peck to his lips causing him to release a giggle.
"Love you, Mommy."
"You're so sweet" he continued to giggle as Demi lightly poked him in the tummy. "Does daddy get a kiss?"
"I'll see you tomorrow, Bud. Make sure they give you loads of candy" Peyton giggled with a nod.
"Nick" Demi hissed, her hand hitting me lightly on the chest.
"Love you, Bud."
"Love you, Daddy."
"We'll see you tomorrow then for the big day. I'm so excited" Demi and I chuckled at Dianna's excitement. We spoke our goodbyes and waved them out the driveway, my arms locking around Demi's waist as we stood on the porch.
"You ready for tomorrow?"
"I'm so ready" Demi turned to me with a wide smile, her arms locking around my neck as we smiled at each other.
