Third Person's Point of View
"Hulihin niyo ang lalaking iyon!" A man in a beard screamed that filled an empty street of Valenveil.
The person cloaked in black jumped from one roof to another as he tried to lose his pursuers. He jumped at the last roof of the street, but when the men looked below, there was no trace of him already. They moved their heads and tried to search for him but to no avail.
"Hanapin niyo sa mga bahay-bahay! Hindi iyon pwedeng makalayo!" Sabi ng isa sa kanila at naghiwa-hiwalay ng paghahanap.
Meanwhile, the guy smirked as he lightly walked in the narrow and damped street, with almost broken lamp posts, with houses made of cheap and loose materials. When he reached a wooden door built on a vaulted stone doorway, he finally turned off his invisibility.
He reached for the door and as soon as he stepped inside, the loud environment of the tavern welcomed him. People were stealing glances at him as he walked past them, as if throwing daggers with their stares.
He was almost panicking.
Agad na naintindihan ng babae kung sino ang dumating. She immediately went to the stairs that lead below the tavern where a hidden passage was located, leading to the forest outside Peirronia. Nilapitan nito ang isang kuwadra at binuksan gamit ang susi na nakatago sa ilalim ng kanyang palda.
The horse, covered with white and mane that looked like that of snowflakes, ran to him as he caressed its body. He mounted the horse, and moving with the wind, he travelled away deep in the forest and activated his invisibility along with the horse.
It was an hour ride when he stopped and settled down his horse from a nearby pond, without even tying it. He wandered his eyes around, being overly cautious if a soul might see him. Still not letting his guard down, he vigilantly walked until a massive curtain of ivies appeared right before him. He roamed his eyes once more and tried to perceive any presence, before he vanished into the ivies.
Inside was a little tunnel without any hint of light. When he reached the end, a peculiar lofty tower was situated in the middle of a lake with water that glistened, being reflected by the sun, as lilies and swans swarmed the place.
There was a shallow cobblestoned path on the lake that led to the bottom part of the tower. After arranging a set of leaves, the stones that made up the tower opened where a spiral wooden staircase welcomed him. He climbed to the top and was greeted by a man with almost golden eyes.
"Thorin–"
The man cleared his throat. "I told you, just call me Rayden when we're alone," he said. "Mabuti naman at nakarating ka na."
