I've always heard this phrase from my parents when they were still here. 'Foresee the future'
The future is one of the things that scares me the most. Not having a single idea on what lies ahead makes it hard to come up with your own decisions because it'll definitely affect what comes next.
But having the chance to know what comes next? To be able to see the future? I've never heard such incidents except from them.
But I'd never thought of having a glimpse of what lies ahead. Is there such things as seeing the future? Is there some kind of magic like that that exists?
I've never heard or encountered such powers about or that controls time or anything that relates to the past, present, and future. But if there is, somewhere, how can that 'someone' be able to handle it?
I admit that the future scares me the most, however, being able to see it is more terrifying.
I caught a glimpse of the time a while ago and it's nearly six in the morning.
I remembered how my body was almost freezing, but inside me was burning. I shook the thought immediately.
I strolled around the crooked graveled streets of the town, reveling myself into the stillness of dawn and the quiet neighborhood. Some elderly people happen to greet me and I always get staggered. No one talks to me at the capital aside from Garnet and Kuya Ray, that's why it was new to me when people actually notice and speak to me, especially with the hostility I've been receiving yesterday.
Nakarating ako sa dulong bahagi ng bayan kung saan natagpuan ko ang limang estatwa ng dragon. There were flowers, meals, and other kinds of offerings under the dragon statues. But I don't have any idea of what kind or who the dragons are in front of me.
It's been years since the existence of dragons was seen here in Domhnialld, the realm of dragons. From what I heard, the Country of Avalon was the center of Domhnialld, where the primal elemental dragons ruled for ages.
But after centuries, it was said that the five dragons disappeared all of a sudden, without notice. There were no witnesses nor records on how they disappeared or where did they go, they're just plain gone. However, it's not the same case for the other countries.
No one knows if they already died or just gone because their time has already come, or they just left and disappeared, leaving the mages without knowledge of their whereabouts. Either way, we mages still look up to and think highly of them.
