It wasn't a doubt that the next morning at my meeting, i couldn't keep my mind on shit.

not after last night.

My mom was sitting to my left, finneas to my right. The rest of my team sitting along the long ass table. I sat with my chin in my hand, zoned out.

I couldn't stop thinking about her. everything about her

"billie?"

"what?"

I jumped up, and looked at my manager who was asking me a question that I had no clue what had been. I rubbed my face. It was the third time in the last hour that I haven't been paying attention.

I didn't know if it was me falling or how I felt in the heat of the moment, but I couldn't stop my mind from racing.

I looked at the clock

11:25pm

I threw my head back and I sat back in my chair. another hour to go.

I slept in.

Last night took a lot out of me. Luckily, Aura and Jaden didn't get suspicious, and I was able to convince them of why I came home at one am.

I rolled onto my back and let the morning sun wake me up. All night i was thinking about her.

in my sleep, in my dreams

I looked at my door and watched my cat slide through the little opening. I was startled at first but I smiled when she rubbed against my bed.

"Mimi" I picked her up, snuggling her to my chest. we cuddled for a moment and then my phone flashed.

my heart dropped a little and I set my cat down to read her last message again. a smile coming upon my lips.

she was right. tour stars in a week and we just started dating. why not spend as much time together as possible?

I got out of my bed and got ready.

a little later, when i was doing my baby hairs my phone flashed again.

I smiled and ran down the steps, bringing my phone with me. when my hand touched the doorknob aura called for me from the kitchen.

"where are you going?"

"Out" was all I said with a smile and I went straight out the door. i knew aura was rolling her eyes and she knew i'd just text her.

i ran down my doorstep and billie was getting out of her car, going to the passengers side. when she saw me coming she stopped and laughed. her arms opened and I ran to her, giving her a big hug.

I looked up at her and gave her a sweet kiss.

"muah"

"i needed that" she gave me an adoring smile as we parted and she opened my door.

"where are we going?" I asked her when she sat. we both buckle our seatbelts.

"i'm gonna teach you how to drive" she looked at me with a grin, and turned the key. the engine roared.
