Hey, every one it's the author here. I know this book has passed between a few authors so I'm really sorry about that, but I'd like to keep working on this book. This is not my first book but recently I went through a huge writing style change which I am still getting used to but I deleted most of my books so I could reformat them to fit me a bit better, but if you'd like me to repost comment or message me and I will gladly finish up quickly and repost for you all.

THIS BOOK HAS BEEN REDONE! SOME OF THE CHAPTERS ARE EXACTLY LIKE THE OLD ONES. SOME ARE NOT. I HAVE PERMISSION TO DO THIS SO DO NOT GET OFFENDED.

The year is 2040. Many things have changed. Technology has advanced along with science. Extinction is no longer a problem. Creatures that roamed the Earth and have long since pasted were granted a new way of life. And this is where our story begins.

"Keres!" The shrill call from outside catches my attention. "You better hurry your ass up! You'll miss the flight." Mom. She has been against this job since the beginning. Honestly, if I missed the plane, I doubt she'd actually mind.

I sigh leaning against my door frame for a final time. The room basked in a hot pink which now at the age of 21, I seriously regret, but it's home. And something I will miss. I flick out the lights softly mumbling a goodbye to my childhood sanctuary under my breath. I peer down the halls cautiously making my way to my brother's room.

"Sam?" I knock softly. He glances up from him the dinosaur plushie, I gave him when he turned 8. I was 15 at the time and had made up my mind to become a dinosaur behavioral analyst after meeting Dr. Henry Wu, the lead scientist at Jurrasic World. Sam presents me with the tear in the arm and I sigh taking the green-scaled brontosaurs out of his hands. "I stitch it back together later. Are you ready to go?" Sam glances at his walls, filled with the plastic dinosaur toys we collected together growing up. I pin up a sad smile.

"I want to take them with." He grunts, hooking his fingers around his backpack.

"You won't need them where we are going. You see real ones when we get there." Sam grins brightly, his mood changing faster than my own does when Aunt Flo is in town. "Now come on. Mom is like the crazy woman we all know she is downstairs and you know how she gets when she feels no one is listening to her." We both shiver before laughing. I take his hand in my own, dragging us both down the stairs. "How'd Bravo rip this time?"

"I think Papi thought it was a chew toy." He answers slipping out the front door and into the back seat as I open the door to the passenger side. "When am I going to be able to sit in the front seat?" He grumbles.

"Sweety... We've been over this. You are too young. Give it a few years." My mom scolds lightly as we share an exasperated look. We both knew he wasn't going to last that long.

{Time skip}

"Now no more growing up while you're gone, you hear me?" Mom threatens, handing us our luggage. "I'm going to be so lonely at home." She brushes back her tears and I manage to control the eye-roll about to break free.

"Mom, you'll have Papi there and you can come to see us at any time. Besides, it's only temporary until Keres can find a house and you can come live with us." I snicker at the mention of our demon dog. Speaking of which is probably destroying the house at the moment since we all forgot to put him into his crate before we left. Not an uncommon thing that happens. After tearful and unnecessary goodbyes, we finally managed to wrestle our tickets and ourselves away from Mom. I quickly grasp Sam's hand in my own, as I move through the surprisingly crowded airport. If I hadn't tossed on my headphones, I would have been just as embarrassed to here my mom shout the last "I LOVE YOU!" to us. Although, I did notice the stares we got for a bit afterward.

As we hand our tickets to the flight attendant, she gleams at the location displayed boldly on the ticket. "If something chases you... run." I roll my eyes at her dramatic which causes the 14-year-old boy at my side so squirm. The attendant winks at me and I shoot her a soft grin before heading up the airplane's ramp.

I actually have never even been to an airport so I had to do quite a bit of research but if I got something wrong, let me know.

{Time skip}

As the ferry begins to set sail for the Island, Sam takes this time to begin grilling me on our location.

"How big is the hotel?"

"Big"

"Like how big?"

"Bigger than you."

"Obviously but give me a range."

"700000x bigger than you."

"Wow."

"Yeah."

"Are we going to see dinosaurs when we get there?"

"I don't know."

"Well, what about training? Are we going to train them?"

"I don't know."

"Are we going to get to ride them?"

"I. Don't. Know." Sam glares at me. He huffs at turns around in his seat to bother the people behind us. I'm too tired to try and stop him. Luckily there is a boy around his age, sitting near us along with his older brother, who passes me a shy smile. I manage a smile back, although I'm sure it didn't look like much of one. The chatter of the boys next to us begins to die down at Isla Nublar comes into sight. What a stunning sight...

The ferry comes to a rocking stop and an announcer high pitch voice rings through the PA system above us. "Welcome to Isla Nublar, Home to Jurassic World. We hope you have a safe and fun stay with us." Sam squeals like a little girl, tugging on the sleeve of my arm. I latch unto his elbow as to not lose him as we move towards the train. I had a vague idea of where to go but I was mainly worried about signing in. If you hadn't caught up to what is going on, allow me to slow down and catch you up to speed. About 10 or so months ago, my dad left to go get milk. And guess what? Didn't return. Hurray! Anyways, my dad was the breadwinner of the family, so we were left with growing bills to pay after a few months went by. My mom had a serious surgery go wrong a few years back and was never going to be safe in the work area so she could obviously not support us. Which left me. Hi, Keres Johnson. I know a weird name. Dumb for parents to go from Keres to Sam. But who am I to judge? Anyways, I grew up surrounded by the growth of bringing extinct animals back to life. It started when I was 5, with wooly mammoths and since then has grown exponentially. Which of course led, yours truly to want to become, a dinosaur specialist.  So I finished off high school with grades of a god. What? You except anything less? Moving on, I graduated. Applied for a job at Jurassic World, and got accepted. Hurray me! So the game plan was, Sam and I go to Isla Nublar, square away our new apartment as Mom closes up the sales of the old one and then moves here. And that's what you missed on GLEE!

First chapter down at 1300 words. Not bad. I'm trying to keep it as similar to the OG as possible but I obviously have a much different writing style than  @EvieLovesOma and @AngelWoods0 but if you would rather have an (insert reader) book, I suggest you go read their books and if you really want more of that, I could possibly write another version of my additions with a (reader insert).
