Chapter Five:

Lyndsey's Pov:

  I sat on the couch, bored as hell as I stared at the oversized television, not really paying attention to what show I had picked. I clicked my tongue over my teeth as I heard the shower turn off. I took a look at the clock to notice that it had apparently been three hours for her to rearrange her room. I looked over the back of the couch to see that her door was ajar. "Hey, did you want to head out to pick up a bed soon?" I yelled out to hear. I heard something knock over, causing me to smile.

                "Uh... yeah." She said as she pulled her door open, barely getting her shoulder cut shirt on. I rose my brow at her flushed cheeks as she wore no makeup. "What...?" She asked as she picked up her furry little creature.

                "Nothing, you just look beautiful with no makeup on is all." I said with a genuine smile as I shut the TV off and stood. I turned to her to see she was looking away from me, her cheeks an even brighter red. "Did you finish preparing your room?" I asked as I walked over to my closet to slip on a pair of flats. I watched with a smirk as she looked flustered.

                "Yeah. Sorry I took so long, I mostly enjoyed a nice long bath." She laughed as she walked back into her room. "I'm going to put on some eyeliner and mascara real quick. I'll be done in like five minutes, is that okay?" She called out as leaned against one of the support beams.

                "That's fine. I shall be waiting here for you." I said as I twirled my keys around my finger. "So, which car would you like to take?" I called out, making some sort of small talk.

                "You have more than one...?" She asked, sounding either confused or curious. I smiled as I closed my eyes, leaning my head against the beam.

                "I own three. Want to take Lotus?" I asked, smiling from ear to ear for some reason. I watched as she closed her door behind her, Oswald resting upon her shoulders.  "So does he go everywhere that you do?"  I asked as she patted her pockets. I smiled, laughing a little as she ran back in her room to grab her cell phone and sunglasses. She looked at me with a beaming smile.

                "Yeah, for the most part. I have a cage for him, but he doesn't like it very much." She said as she patted him on the head. "So, what car did you say we were taking?" She asked as we walked into the loft.

                "Well, I thought maybe you'd like to take the Lotus?" I asked as I hit the bottom floor button.

                "I'm not really sure what that is." She laughed as she rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly.

                "I'm not either, but it looks hot." I laughed as I leaned against the wall of the elevator as we descended. "Why are you so flustered?" I asked as I looked at her, noticing that she was playing with her shirt as she looked at how interesting her boots were.

                "Me?" She asked as she casted me a look for a moment before the elevator chimed.

                "No, the other person who I was talking to." I laughed as I threw the door to the loft open. She laughed as we walked out onto the lobby, waving to Benjamin as we walked to the garage.

                "I'm not flustered..." She said as she looked at all of the fancy cars before her. "Wow..." She laughed. "These cars probably cost more than my house." She drifted off as we walked down the pathway.

                "Probably. Anyway, here's my baby." I said as I stopped in front of my jet black red leather beauty. I looked over at her to see her brows raised.
