Lyndsey's POV:
Valerie shut the door in my face, causing me to laugh at her slightly. But suddenly, an intense feeling of paranoia washed over me. My fears became known as my ears picked up the sounds of a cameras shutter constantly going off. I looked down at my hand that rested upon the doors handle; looking over my shoulder. I stared at an empty alley-way, the sun in the distance, barely touching the sky anymore. A shiver was running through my body as my blood ran ice cold through my veins. Something told me that I needed to get back in, ignore whatever was going on and just finish this night out. So, I did that. I shook my head of these odd feelings, telling myself it was just some young camera eager person who wanted to sell their pictures. Pulling the door opened, I entered the stage once more.
"There you are!" Brian's voice shrieked as he rushed over to me. "You're on in five!" He frowned, clenching his clipboard. I swallowed the boulder that made itself known. I wasn't entirely sure what this feeling was, but it needed to go away.

"I'm so glad today is finally over..." Val sighed as we took a seat at the bar. I smiled, placing my hand on the small of her back, loving the small grin that grew upon her lips. I had taken her to a small dive bar to get away from all crap went through these pasts few days. Val thankfully ordered me a beer and herself some sort of odd drink I didn't know the name of. "I can't believe I can order alcohol here." She laughed, shaking her head as she took the cherry out, licking the droplet of alcohol before it fell from it. I watched intently, my body heating up just by the sight of it. I could feel my face flush slightly as she looked at me, her brow rising in question, "Oh yeah?"
"What...?" I asked bashfully, looking away now. My eyes found the bartender who gave me a knowing smile. I let out a breath, rubbing my thigh with my free hand and taking a swig of my drink. "Can you honestly blame me?"
"Yes." Val laughed lightly, earning another smile from me. "You're honestly so pervy..." She smiled, biting the cherry.
"And you're extremely sexual." I countered, trying my best to keep up with her.
"What?! How?!" She laughed, turning towards me fully, slamming her hand on the counter. "You're way more sexual than me!" She shook her head in disbelief. I gave a mock terror expression, placing my hand on my chest lightly, my jaw dropping in disgust.
"Well, I declare!" I tried my best at a southern accent, failing miserably. Valerie broke with laughter, nearly falling off her seat. As of late; I couldn't help but smile all the time when we were together. Her laugh, that amazing smile, and god her chocolate eyes... everything that made my heart soar. And as I looked at her, thoughts of how much I truly loved this woman kept popping in my head. 'Shut up brain...' I thought to myself as I took another sip.
"That was horrible!" She teased, sticking her tongue out at me. I watched as her nose twitched slightly as she made the face.
"Can you do an Australian accent?" I asked, my brow raised slightly in interest. Valerie's face dropped for a second as she thought. Placing her drink on the counter she attempted my homeland's accent.
"Good day mate!" She blurted out. I looked at her with an expression I didn't even understand myself. "That's how you sound!" She laughed causing me to shake my head in response.
"First of all," I started, holding one finger in the air, "It's G'day mate; we don't really pronounce the good. Secondly, that was just horrible." I smirked at her mock hurt face.
I was loving this... just her and I spending time together. I was loving the fact that we were finally able to be more ourselves around one another. I was loving everything. As I watched her interact with the bartender I couldn't keep my eyes off her. Watching that beautiful smile that sent shivers down my spine, watching her hair cascade around her shoulders. My eyes traveled to the simple yet stunning outfit she had worn for the day. I bit my lip as she flipped her hair to the other side of her head as she spoke to the woman serving her the drink. 'God damn...' I thought before looking up, her eyes catching my stare. I didn't care if she caught me though, because when I thought about what we did last night... I wanted her again. However, this wasn't exactly the same; It was deeper than that. I swallowed the last of my beer as I watched her. As I remembered the feel of her skin under my fingertips, my fingers ran along my leg as it bounced against the stool. My heart was racing slightly, trying its best to match pace with my mind.
