Hearing the impatient beeping from the car, Yn sprinted towards the driveway, the banana firmly in her hand, as she threw her rucksack over her shoulder. Before Yn had even closed the car door, Ygf had started backing out of the driveway, and they sped off towards a new term. All the way there Ygf berated Yn for making them late on the first day. This was such a vital year, and their priority had to be getting the best grades and reports they could, to give their careers the correct start. As they neared the college Ygf seemed to run out of ranting steam and sighed. Yn was clearly not listening and Ygf had a very good idea where, or rather with whom, her thoughts actually were.
"Yn...are you at least going to talk to him this term? Your secret admirer status is in danger of stepping into secret stalker territory!" They parked up and bolted out of the car.
"Whatever do you mean?" Yn panted running along the corridor towards home room, trying to peel the banana.
"I mean Jimin! You know exactly what I mean!" Ygf exclaimed, also slightly out of breath.
"Ladies!" called a bored voice behind them making them freeze. They would know that tone anywhere.
Min Yoongi the Head of the College. He was no nonsense, straight talking and extremely strict. He was young and a self-made millionaire, who started the college almost single-handedly, and the students and staff revered and feared him in equal measure.
"Y-yes Sir?" Yn asked, smiling at him innocently.
Yoongi sighed. "Are you seriously late on the first day of term? Also running and eating in the corridor?"
"S-sorry S-Sir - won't happen again!" Yn stuttered.
"Hm. Make sure of that. Ok go to class." Yoongi gestured towards the classrooms.
They didn't need telling twice.
As they turned to go towards home room, all the students started pouring out of the classrooms to rush to the first lesson.
"Where were you guys!?" a deep husky voice asked right next to them. "Ah good you brought me breakfast!" Yn jumped, startled as a hand, decorated with multiple silver rings grabbed the banana. A curious but cheeky gaze met her own flustered one. His black wavy hair fell into his sparkling slate grey eyes, where not held out of the way by a colourful bandana.
"Tae!!!" Yn shrieked and hugged him hard. His cheek bulging with a big bite of banana, Tae embraced her back, trying to keep the rest of the uneaten banana out of her hair. He untangled himself and hugged Ygf giving her a squeeze.
"I missed you guys!!! Come on!" Tae called over his shoulder as he grabbed a hand from each of them and pulled them along.
"But we have to get our schedules and choose our extra optional classes!" exclaimed Yn, confused.
"No need!" Tae replied grinning "I signed you guys up for the extra classes!" He passed them two timetables triumphantly.
"You what!?" Ygf exclaimed.
"Yes you were late, so I covered! Our first class is Cookery!" Tae grinned.
Ygf halted pulling Tae and Yn back. "Er what?!" she yelled "But I despise cooking!"
"That's why you need the class," beamed Tae with his characteristic boxy smile "come on!"
Yn giggled "C'monnn Ygf, it'll be fun!"
Ygf rolled her eyes and let herself be dragged into her own personal hell.
