"I have another announcement and introduction to make" Yoongi continued. "As some of you might know, recently I developed an interest in studying rocks. And it has come to my attention that we do not host a Geology class. I am therefore enthused to set one up" Yoongi explained, sounding far from enthused. "Therefore this year cookery class will be taken by a new teacher. You are extremely lucky that I was able to convince him to join us, as he is extremely talented, and is doing me a favour. He has taught many famous chefs, even though he laughs like a windscreen wiper." Yoongi gave a rare grin as the students giggled, surprised. "I'd like to welcome my friend, and your new teacher, Mr Kim Seokjin" Yoongi paused as a tall handsome man walked into the classroom and blew everyone a kiss. The students clapped and tittered, and Yn noticed several of the students straightening their hair and sitting up straighter.
"Please call me Jin....I am your world wide handsome new teacher!" he called out theatrically and started laughing in the exact way Yoongi had described. The students laughed too, immediately liking him and some whistled. "We will be learning various interesting receipes, and most importantly, I will be sharing with you my excellent Dad jokes!"
"Tell us one now Sir, please!" Yn pleaded, raising her hand high. Yoongi looked like he was about to tell her to be quiet, but Jin hit the table with his palm gleefully.
"And why not indeed!" Jin exclaimed, "That's what I like to see, an enthusiastic student! What is your name?"
"Yn" she replied smiling.
"Well Yn, what do you call a banana that likes to dance?"
Yn shrugged, giggling "No idea Sir!"
"No no, that's the answer to a different joke" he mock tutted. The class laughed. "You call it a banana shake!" Jin finished, clapping his hands, his face scrunched up in laughter.
Yn burst out laughing, whilst her classmates chuckled politely. Jin pointed to Yn "As you were the first to laugh, you get to help me demonstrate our first recipe of the semester next week, banana fritters! And Yn?" Jin blew a kiss at her dramatically. Yn blushed and thanked him, giggling. Whilst Yoongi looked alarmed.
"Erm Jin whilst you are on shaky ground blowing kisses to the whole class, try to refrain from doing so to individual students. I know Yn and I'm sure she won't sue us, however!" Yoongi joked dryly, as Jin nodded and raised his hands up in an oops gesture, winking at the class. As Jin and Yoongi chatted with some students in the front row and passed out the new books, the noise level in the class rose. "Ok settle down" Yoongi called rolling his eyes fondly and displaying another small smile.
"That's two Yoongi Sir smiles in one lesson," hissed Yn to Ygf "whatever is going on?!"
However Ygf was not paying any attention as she was engrossed in a conversation with Tae and Jungkook.
Yn noticed Ygf blushing, a very rare event, and muttered "what IS going on?!" She jumped as she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned and Namjoon passed her a folded note. She turned back to the front and opened it to read "My phone number below. Please let me know when good for you to start our important maths project that will rock. Hopefully more so than geology". Yn found herself smiling as she turned to Namjoon only to find an empty seat.
She looked up and noticed him slipping out of the classroom. No one else had noticed except Yn and Yoongi.
