"You're such a creep, Alexander," Y/N hissed. "SHHHH, they're gonna hear us if you keep yelling at me!" Alexander almost screamed.

Alexander had somehow convinced Philip and Y/N to hop onto a horse and ride to the other side of London. A quieter part with almost no one walking around. They stared at the little lodge which was partly in a back-alley and partly in the woods. "What'd you do in the two hours you were gone?" Philip asked. "Why are we here?" Y/N asked, ignoring Philip's question. "We should be in the palace," She sighed.

"I saw someone walking around the entrance of the palace. I don't know why but he looked so familiar to me. I tracked him down and he entered that house the last time I saw him," Alexander explained. "And you're telling me that you can't see how creepy that is?" She asked him. "Y/N, for once, just shut up and let me have this," Alexander sneered at her.

As he did, the old wooden door of the lodge opened. Alexander quickly grabbed the two and pulled them around the corner. He poked his head out and watched a cloaked figure come out and close the door behind him. "-and don't you dare go to the palace again!" Someone yelled from the inside. "Okay, mom," The figure said with a lot of sarcasm.

"Okay, children, now is our time to unmasker that person," Alexander grinned, rubbing his hands together. "Pops, Y/N may be right. I think you're going too-" but before Philip could express his concerns, his father began following the figure. "Y/N, I think we should warn those people inside about my dad. I don't want them to worry about an assassin chasing them down," Philip groaned and walked toward the lodge.

"Absolutely not, I'm going back to the palace," Y/N huffed and crossed her arms. "It'll take two minutes, then we can go back," Philip reassured making Y/N sigh. "Fine. Two minutes," She agreed and followed him toward the lodge.

"Go on, knock," Y/N said as they stood in front of the door. "Give me a second, I'm not good at confrontation," He said and took a moment to hype himself up. After a few seconds, Y/N knocked on the door for him. "I wasn't ready!" He sneered at Y/N. A few seconds later the door opened.

"I erm-... Hello, do you have a moment?" Philip asked.

The strange figure began walking toward the market place nearby. Alexander could only assume that he was sent to go get food. He quickly started to walk parallel from him, far enough so he wouldn't be spotted. All the while, he tried to look at his face. He confirmed that it was a man after seeing that he had some stubble. His hair did cover a big part of his face. The man stopped at a stand and talked with the vendor so Alexander decided to get behind the stand and listen in while looking at some trinkets that the stand next to him was selling.

"Just the usual, please," Alexander concentrated as hard as he could to recognize the voice. The vendor handed him a basket before the man left. He took the same route as before so Alexander knew where he could cut him off.

"What'd you want, kid?" The guy at the door asked Philip. "It's about my father. You see, he has been through a lot and-" "We're not giving you money," The guy interrupted as he glared at Philip. "Oh, we're not asking for money! We just want to warn you," Philip clarified. "Warn me for what?" He asked. "As I said, my father is quite aggressive and he has a lot of war trauma," Philip explained. "He's not lying. I'm traveling with both of them and he has tried to throw a rock at me twice," Y/N said.

"You see, he saw someone around the palace who lives here as well. Just know that you don't have to worry about him! He wouldn't do anyone any harm," Philip said. The man at the door looked at Philip for a few good seconds. "I'm sure my friend can fend for himself, don't worry," He reassured Philip. "That's great! I just wanted to apologize for the inconvenience!" Philip smiled. "And as I said, my father wouldn't hurt anyone just for the heck of it!"

As the guy turned the corner to enter the back-alley where his house was, Alexander tackled him from the side. He pressed his wrists down on the ground, making the basket fall down on its side. "Gotcha!" Alexander sneered and looked right in the eyes of his suspect.

"Did you hear that?" Y/N asked and turned around. "No?" Philip said. "I'll check it out," Y/N said as she slowly walked away.

"You." Alexander hissed as he looked at the guy. "I thought you were dead."

"Y/N, I really think you just imagined it!" Philip said, still standing in front of the door. "Your girlfriend is pretty independent," The guy at the door said with a chuckle. "She isn't my-" "Alexander! Get off that man!" Y/N yelled at Alexander. "Isn't that your dad?" The guy at the door asked with furrowed eyebrows. "Isn't that your friend?" Philip asked and rushed toward the corner with the guy following him.

Y/N pulled Alexander up and off the man. "What's wrong with you?!" She yelled. "Y/N, stay behind me," Alexander hissed as he grabbed her wrist. The guy slowly got up, looking at his basket. "I don't know why you're so-" Y/N started but then looked at the man in front of them.

Philip and the other man came running. "Pops, can't you just calm down for a minute-" Philip said before seeing the man they were backing away from. Everyone stayed dead silent. "...Isn't that?" Philip finally decided to say. "Son. That's the reason why I can't sleep at night," Alexander hissed.

"Meet the 'almighty' king George,"

Y/N shakily exhaled, clenching Alexander's hand. The piercing blue eyes of the king were not as intimidating as Alexander remembered. The man from the door quickly pushed past Alexander and headed toward George. "And who in the hell are you?!" Alexander asked the man. He turned around, revealing his face to Alexander.

"Jesus Christ," Alexander slowly started to laugh. "This is f*cking impossible at this point," He rubbed his face. "John Paul Jones, everybody! I thought you were dead as well!" Alexander said. Y/N and Philip looked at each other. They knew John Paul Jones from the history lessons they had gotten but everyone thought he died.

"Who else?!" Alexander asked the two. "Who else, who I thought had died, is still kicking?!" He yelled. Jones and George looked at each other for a second. "Pops, calm down," Philip slowly said, trying to calm his dad down. Before Alexander could yell at his son to shut his mouth, another person came running toward them.

"Alexander, stop,"

Y/N and Alexander immediately recognized him. Both of them were fueled with anger almost instantly. "Great that you joined the reunion party as well, Laurens. We really appreciate it," Alexander hissed.
